Bad dining experience!. This once reliable if not great restaurant was a huge disappointment to me and a fellow diner recently. When the kitchen leaves out the main ingredients in two simple salad dishes (shrimp and chicken), it's time to ask, "Is the chef out to lunch?" The service was also indifferent and not very helpful. A far cry from the Chin Chin I used to frequent. New management?! Who cares!! One BAD day will keep this diner away!!!

Devour Chin Chin's famed Chinese Chicken salad in the company of supermodels and shoppers.. The Scene
Given the proclivity this Asian mini-chain has for attracting supermodel and actress types, they might as well call it Thin Thin. Perched in yuppie enclaves all over town, the white umbrellas of its patios make a welcome watering hole for shoppers to cast off their bags and rest their weary Dolce & Gabbana-clad frames.

The Food
The "Dim Sum & Then Sum" combination is what put Chin Chin on the map. Select three choices from a delightful repertoire of dim sum staples, innovative salads, and hearty entrees. The tangy crunchy sweet Chinese chicken salad is a must-have, but once you've been there and done that, move on to the jade salad, with pickled ginger shrimp, jewel-like mandarin oranges and tender baby spinach. The glutinous steamed pork buns are sticky, sweet and satisfying. Since it's all so healthy and fulfilling, splurge on one of the big white or dark chocolate-dipped fortune cookies for dessert.

Typical White Man made Chinese food. This is cool if you have a big group of people and you want to please every palette. This is plain Chinese food. The appetizer is good if you like greasy wontons with sweet and sour. Not that fancy, service isn't bad. It's a good spot for big groups.

Always Delectable. I've been going to Chin Chin for almost 3 years and the food has always been fantastic. As a vegetarian, I have tons of variety, too, because I can swap meat with tofu in any dish. Pricing is reasonable and portions are large. Great place!

Not so bad!. I agree with the wanna be actor statement below, however, the food was very good.

We had orange chicken and egg foo young and both were delicious. The egg rolls could use some work (which for some reason, were spicy) but we had to tell our server that the egg foo young was the best we have had, EVER. All the different dishes I did see looked excellent and I kept asking what it all was it looked so good. Besides, it can't be bad if it was busy! Both the restaurant and the separate take-out area were busy!

Can't Go Wrong with Chin Chin. Chin Chin isn't anything to get excited about, but you'll never have a bad meal here. The menu is about as basic as it gets, but the food is good. Beef with Broccoli and Lemon Chicken are both good bets and Anthony's Special Noodles si worth a try.
