The Scene – La Loggia is simple and elegant without being stuffy. It's also one of the few restaurants in town where the dining is equally pleasant indoors or on the patio. Introspective, melancholy paintings are the only form of decoration. The service is smooth, though sometimes the kitchen can be a bit slow. – – The Food – The menu is simple, offering a variety of traditional Italian dishes that are skillfully prepared. Luscious steak-like strips of portobello mushroom are paired with sauteed garlic spinach doused in a port sauce. Ravioli stuffed with smoked Gouda…

Birthday Bash
by snooze09
We went to the restaurant over the weekend for a friend's birthday. We got hustled by the waiter!!! The waiter sold us a set menu and promised an Italian Feast... Instead we got tiny portions and an obnoxious bill. We went next door to the sushi restaurant to actually get full ;) All in all nice place to hang out at the bar but BEWARE when you order food what you are getting and how much they are going to charge you....Or you'll leave feeling robbed!!
- Pros: Bar/Lounge Area
- Cons: Food Service/Cost$$
the best italian restaurant in LA
by gineth
the loggia is an elegant restaurant, friendly and a great location, have a huge menu with great variety of wines and the staff makes you feel there is a family atmosphere is the best place where you can either share with your loved ones, friends, partners ...... is important to note the attention of the younger waiter in this restaurant since I was there that night offered me the best of both Italian and Spanish food is a great person. definitely encourage you to come to know the valley's best ....

WORST restuarant I've ever been to!!!!

we came here for my friend's birthday and from the beginning until the end they treated us like we didn't exist. They completely ignored our requests, service was horrible, we had to ask 5 times for someone to take our order and the place was empty! the food was ok, but the portions were way over priced for the tiny (seriously the size of my palm) portions they gave us. Even after we asked how large the ravioli would be, they said its pretty big and they brought us literally 8 super thin pieces of ravioli. In addition, we asked before hand if there was a cake-cutting fee and they said "no" and then they charged us $40 for the cake cutting when we didn't even ask them to cut it and they didn't even warn us about it. When we confronted them about this they threatened to "keep our cars hostage" at the vallay if we didn't pay and then the manager started yelling at us and pointing his finger at us in front of the whole restaurant because we brought a cake (even though they said it was okay before!). This is seriously the WORST place I've ever been, I would have rather had dinner at 7-11 or McDonalds than this crappy place! The sad part is, I'm not even exaggerating. This was seriously that bad.
- Pros: No pros
- Cons: Everything sucked! especially the service and the managers
THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE IS VILE, UNPROFFESSIONAL, AND RUINED OUR DINNER
by Galbruin
I go to La Loggia and Next Door )the bar next door) quite frequently. I have always enjoyd it. This week, however, a friend of mine were dining at Nexy Door, when a waiter approached us and asked if he could take the table at which we were eating to give to someone else. We were enranged not only beause tha has sat us at that booth, but because we were still eating. We said no. About a half jour later, a grasy man with long hair approached us again about the table. We told him we were still ating off it, and needed it. He took it away anyway, Leaving e and my friend to eat off this time little cube of a table. When I told the alleged owner that I was insulted and we were enjoying our meal, but he did not care, he said that I could leave the restaurant or just deal with it. I have been there before with friends (with big money) and watched this same man kiss their as**es. So unless you have a lot of money and can get the ownr to bow down to you, I suggest you stay away from this place. Unless, of course, you don't mind abbrasive staff and eating with no table.
- Pros: The tapas
- Cons: The Manager
