No Tiarra Check Here!. This place is wonderful. I have been to CW Gay Bars in Houston with so much attitude from the clientel of my hat is bigger than your hat, but not here. The staff is friendly and happy to see everyone. Bartenders are great. Great line dance routines...some a little difficult...but he makes sure you get it first before he moves on. Love the place.

Friendliest Place in Town. This place is great. The dancing is so fun, a mixture of Line dancing (not all country) and Two Step. Saturdays is disco night. The Staff and Customers here are warm and welcoming...The friendliest place i've been to in LA. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from, you are welcome at Oil Can Harry's!!!

This place is a lot of fun, fun fun. I don't like country. I don't like dancing. I don't really like gay bars. BUT then I went here. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Fabulous!. Oil Can Harry's is an amazingly fun place, whether you're straight or gay, no one cares! It's all about fun, fun, fun! I would highly recommend ANYONE to go!

Country-western fans and first-time line dancers gather for a foot-stompin' good time in Studio City.. In Short
Every country-western cliché is rolled up into this Valley local's hangout--think lots of cowhides, saddles and cowboy hats. Jeans-clad men and women suited in plaid shirts and boots line dance and two-step the night away on the dance floor in the middle of the room. Grab a beer from either of the two bars, shoot some pool and soak up the friendly, down-home vibe. Gay men and women of all ages flock here to dance without the usual politics of a gay bar; it's normal to ask fellow cowboys or cowgirls to pair up without any perceived ulterior motives. While most patrons are seasoned country-western shufflers, first-timers are more than welcome, with free lessons provided three times a week. Thursdays are the busiest nights, as are Saturdays when the bar sheds its regular image to play '70s and '80s tunes.
