ZERO STARS!!!! I bought a few pieces of jewelery including earrings I was told were real. Not only were the stones not real, but the metal wasn't even silver. I took several pieces of costume jewelery to be repaired and was, am and always be so disappointed and offended by how all was handled. First, the pieces were left for nearly a year because Michael "needed to find the right stones and it was very difficult". I was told several times they mailed all the pieces to me, but never did. LIE. One of the pieces I picked up had stones that were so poorly glued, some of the stones were glued upside down and others picked off the frame with ease. Also, I picked up a necklace that was repaired and Michael showed me the backing of the necklace and what a great job he did on lasering the links. The reality was that he didn't touch the links, the only thing he had to do was replace a missing stone. Not only did Michael not replace the missing stone, but there was another missing when I picked it up...and he charged me for it. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER GO TO HIM. If you are not waiting for sub par work, you are being lied to that something was actually done!!!!!!

false stone. Some time ago I ordered a custom made gold ring with a purple sapphire as the center stone. When I resold it, it turned out to be a tanzinite and not a sapphire as I was told. Very disappointed to say the least.

Awesome!. They are so helpful and kind at Jewels by Kurt! They did a custom job on my wedding ring and the band so they fit nicely together at a great price. It was all done in a timely fashion and I got a matching band for my fiance as well! Go and check it out!

Would not recommend. We have bought a couple of pieces at Jewels by Kurt. While the pieces are very pretty, they have frequently broken apart. When I took the pieces in to get serviced there has been poor follow through. Some of the employees, like Adam are great, but others are difficult to work with.

Michael kurt delivers Us Amazing works!!. i am disturbed at the person before me has commented, its beyond unbelievable to see how far competitors will try to gain business by calling Michael our jeweler of 30 years, a liar? i guess the rest of us of his many happy customers are dreaming? or imagening.. when we receive the best service, great prices and this store always made sure we have quarters for the meter, when there was a bit of wait, caused by many jobs that they have to do, because of they do outstanding work, which is why they are the busiest shop.. for none other than words of satisfied customers.. referred..etc., This store speaks Triumph, and Michael always delivers great work. Your one 'unbelievable' review will not make or break this company, because of strong supporters like myself, my family, friends, co-workers.. who will be posting their satisfaction for all to see very shortly. We Locals support our stores, and jewels by kurt, and Michael will be around for many more years because they do not need consumers like you sir/madam who does not appreciate a small family business. There is always be malls and shop by catalogs for you

Liar Liar Pants On Fire?. RScott claims the reviews are Lies. I must agree. If a logical person do a google search and read them there they will see most reviews written on Jan 1, 2005, and all those from Cityvoter. I have Never seen any other company reviewed by the same website and on the same DAY. If a company can be so deceptive in something so innocent as reviews, I would not trust them with my precious stones... Ever. Its too easy for an experienced jewler to switch real stones for fake when they take them to the back for "cleaning". A remarkably easy process, which I hope this company does not engage in. But liars are liars..........

If you can dream it up, Jewels By Kurt will make it!. This team is fabulous in customer service first and foremost. That being said, these genuine Santa Monica residents recently hand built me two beautiful rings (Engagement & Wedding). The first (the engagement ring) was born from over 200 small whites, three rims of white gold, and a georgeous 4.6 ct. pink sapphire. The second (wedding) stretches, and was hand made from white gold, plus 3 ct. of quality pink & white diamonds. BOTH came out exactly the way i wanted them, to match my beautiful wife.

Then just built me a stunning white diamond/pink sapphire necklace to represent our child bearing & the new mom's birthday combined. My wife loves this jewelery, and the jewelers at Kurts!!!
