Tips for General Wax & Candle Wholesale

Great Candle Making Supplies. I make many type of candles to resale. General Wax has many candle supplies and candle making equipment that makes my business thrive. They are also a very honest store and stand behind their products. I once purchased a fragrance that I later decided I didn't want and they let me return it even though it was more than 30 days past the purchase date. I will always take my business needs to them.

Regular General Wax customer for many years.. I buy all my candle supplies from General Wax and have been doing so for 10+ years.

For the holidays, I am currently decorating our Christmas tree with their beautiful 10" processional candles. They are so elegant and clean burning.

We have lots of family and friends over during December and they all just love the Yuletide Bayberry Candle Scent / Fragrance Oil.

Happy Holidays to all!

Beware Customer Service and Return Policy!. I would beware of their return policy and their customer service. Ask what you are getting when you order. I bought four expensive taper candles ($4.90 each) from General Wax and Candle Co. and within moments of lighting them, they dripped wax all over my candleholders and my table. When I very politely explained over email and asked if I could replace them or have a refund (given that I had spent $27 total with shipping and now could not use them) they sent me a curt email, said there was nothing they could do, as these candles drip. There was nothing in the description of the candles that said that they drip. Had there been, of course I wouldn't have ordered them. This was the first time I shopped with them, and I wouldn't shop with them again, because of 1) the quality of the candles, and 2) the lack of customer service.

Other candles are a scandal. After a visit to Gen Wax, you'll never again buy low-quality, scented pillar candles for upwards of $20. Gen Wax candles burn evenly and cleanly, and the colored varieties are solid (not just a thin layer of color over a white candle.) Venture into the rear of the store, where real bargains are to be had with the "irregular" candles--which usually look just fine except for a tiny scratch. Gen Wax's long-burning aromatherapy column candles (in the octagonal box) are a great value if you need your house to smell like patchouli, lemon grass or lavender--which some of us absolutely do.
