A great find. I ended up a Awilda Salon because my hairdresser, Lori Kapperman, had just moved into the salon. I was used to Lori's old salon being warm, comfortable and a fun place to get your hair done. Opening the door to Awilda Salon you are greeted by a warm smile by the manager, beautifuly displayed products (Pureology). I was put at ease and was delighted at all the attention. I have followed Lori Kapperman since her styling days in the Inland Empire. She has styled my hair from short to long and is an expert on color. She makes you fill like you are her only client and listens to your needs. When my sisters fly in for a visit they want to see Lori and get that special hairstyle they can not find in there home town. Lori is one of kind stylist.

Awilda is the best salon in Beverly Hills. thankfully there is a hair salon in Beverly Hills that is calming, tranquil and provides an explosion of color and creativity that sparks from Awilda's hands and bounces and interacts into a collaborative fest with the stylists who love being there.they listen. they listen(!) the clients are so pampered and taken care of and the costs do not empty pockets. Awilda and staff. bless you.

Best Highlights in LA. Awilda salon is the best in LA!! I love this place. Awilda, the owner, has been doing my highlights for the last couple years and she is amazing. I am very picky and high mantenance when it comes to color and she has given me the best BLONDE highlights I have ever had.

If you want great highlights and a great cut, go to Awilda at Awilda Salon.

Best Highlights-Alexis. I have been getting my hair highlighted for over 20 years. Whether it be in NY or LA (I am from the East Coast) I have never had anyone do such an amazing job on my hair. My highlights are amazing and the color is so natural. Most people think it is my natural color. Additionally, Alexis is so nice, down to earth and very sweet. Plus, she really listens to what you want. The salon itself has a great vibe and everyone is always very nice. Thank you Alexis!!

Professional, Personable, Perfection. I have been going to Awilda for a little over a year for both my cut and color- she has had my trust since day one, which isn't easy to earn when my hair is basically my security blanket.

She has perfected a beautiful shade of red that never fails to encourage people to ask if my beautifully rich hair color is natural (I'll never tell). She is also responsible for maintaining a great cut and when I have tried to keep it long, she gets the credit for keeping it healthy. I recently parted with 4 inches of (dead, flat-ironed) hair by Awilda's suggestion and have never received so many compliments with a cut in my life. She knows her trade- I trusted her that I was in need of such a drastic cut.

Every visit to the salon has been a pleasure but my most recent appointment exceeded all expectations I've ever had and Awilda has certainly raised the bar- impressive since she's already set quite a high standard.

After a few months of discussion, I finally decided to get the Brazilian Keratin Treatment. Awilda was patient with my plethora of questions (will I still be able to style my hair, will it lose its body, how long does it last)- she even gave me information I didn't think to ask about. (Don't put your hair in a ponytail for 48 hours, don't sweat for 48 hours) With each part of the process, she further educated me on the product and technique.

I know other salons claim they offer the same service for half the price and half the time (I was there from 3-6), but I don't see how it can have the same effect. I'd rather have a professional put time and effort into my hair care- I think you get what you pay for and Awilda is like the Chanel of salon professionals. I would never trust my hair to someone who likens their services to that of a drive-through.

Every time I go to the salon I have hassle-free parking, am greeted with warm smiles and energy, am offered a beverage and/or snack and feel at ease. Awilda and the staff remember small details I discuss (they follow up on dates or interviews I mention) and we have genuine discussions about everything from politics to travel to love and family. They also respect the times I just want to sit and read a magazine- which there are plenty of to choose from.

The best feeling is leaving with a refreshed attitude and knowing Awilda is as proud and happy with her work as I am.

Best colorist and cut in town. I've been going to the Awilda Salon since it opened in 2001 and keep coming back. The folks at the Awilda Salon always make you feel special. Awilda is a master colorist and cutter. She's managed to keep my frizzy locks looking lush and gorgeous. She's also taught me how to care for my hair to keep it healthy and vital despite frequent blow-dries and the ravages of the aging process. She's Beverly Hills best kept secret.

Amazing highlights with Alexis. I recently moved to the Los Angeles area from NYC. I was nervous about finding a new stylist in a new city. I have nothing to worry about anymore since finding Awilda salon. A few of my co-workers recommended me to Awilda salon. Since it was close to where I live, I decided to check it out. I made an appointment for highlights with Alexis. She was incredibly nice and down to earth! I felt completely comfortable the whole time! The salon atmosphere was warm and inviting not pretentious, like most places can be in Beverly Hills. It was very refreshing! She did an absolutely amazing job on the color! They are the best highlights I have ever had. I am so thrilled! By the way, I thought the price for a full head of highlights was pretty reasonable, I will definitely be back again. Thank you Alexis!
