Want to know how good it is?

I ate a steak taco salad from Tacomiendo and thought about it for a whole week. That's how good it is. :)
Love food and atmosphere

I've ordered takeout twice from Tacomiendo so far, and have already become devoted to it.
The food is well prepared. The meat is of good quality and well-flavored. The beans are tasty without being heavy and soaked with too much cheese.
So far, we've had tacos dorado, tacos asada, chile relleno, and pollo con mole negro. The mole sauce in particular was spicy and complex, a match for the fare in any upscale restaurant.
When you enter the restaurant, you wil have left L.A. and will be somewhere in Mexico. The green and red walls are vivid, with a large shrine to the Virgin of Guadalupe. The huge cast iron cauldron of beans is steaming on the counter, so help yourself. The salsa, pico de gallo, and fresh condiments are wonderful.
Service is prompt and gracious, a place not to be missed!
- Pros: Excellent food, interesting restaurant
- Cons: None, parking on Culver Blvd. is OK if mall is full.
Good ****ing place

To reiterate what someone posted several years ago: "the best thing that no other place has is that you can serve yourself just-made beans if you want for free!!!"
Hell yeah! Homemade tortillas, respectable salsa-bar, and the crock-pot full of delicious just-made beans = win!
I had a burrito, my lady friend had tacos, and we both left smiling. The just-made beans are the icing on the cake. And if you're so inclined, they serve coke or a pepsi in a glass bottle.
- Pros: Fresh, Homemade - not some lame chain store
- Cons: Limited parking
