Behind its gold-tinged concrete facade, this mini-mall restaurant comprises little more than a sushi bar and a few closely spaced tables; flower-filled bud vases add a hint of color. Chef-owner Ken Namba's oferings range from simple to adventurous. Menu highlights include a spinach salad with six kinds of mushrooms; mango wrapped in house-smoked salmon; and honey balsamic teriyaki chicken. For dessert, tamago custard and homemade white truffle and brown sugar-ginger ice cream are house specialties.

Kiriko is one of these hard to find places that you'll always keep in your book if you're a true sushi lover. This place is far away from all these standard bland americanized roll shops. We went "oma kase" four times there already, and everytime, the chef had us try something different, and progressively going from the easy to the more occult japanese dishes. I'm not a big fan of the sea cucumber or the baby eels, but I'm glad he had me try them, as I would never have thought about ordering any of these. They also have a lot of delightful fish that are not on the menu, so, just sit at the bar and have a chat with the chef, he will be delighted to guide you through the delightful wonders hidden behind his counter. Oh, and.... you HAVE to try their house smoked salmon !

Took a client from Japan and I was a little disappointed. The sushi was not up to par from my last visit. Maybe it was an off day, the sushi was a 5 out of 10 and the kitchen was a 7 out of 10 on the night that we went. My guest enjoyed it very much, he said the sake menu had a good selection, and the service was good. This was probably an off day.

took them 2 hours to prepare 3 dishes...4 of us ordered 'omakase-pre fixe' sushi dinner which was about 80 bucks per person..by the 2nd hour, all of us were hungry, tired, and lost interests...we comlained, but failed to get apology from the owner..happened on 7-29 Sunday around 7 PM..
