I am very happy with the service. Really simple and easy transaction. Very small little store in the corner of the shopping center. Just needed someone to take a few links out of my new watch. The gentleman helped me right away, did the work and only wanted $3. I know this is a simple task, but most places charge you at least $10 to do this because it takes away from doing other things.
Normally I would go to one of those small kiosks in the mall, but I just didn't have the need to be at the mall for anything else. So I looked and found this place on citysearch.
- Pros: Fast, Cheap, Courteous, Great Service

Quality Watch Repair in an unlikely location
by cat_darconville
A tiny post office box place that contains the soul of a watch repair artist.
A friendly gentleman named Gregory took an old jeweled pocket watch, listened to it, popped off the back, scrutinized its performance, and then like a closeup sleight of hand magician, took it apart in front of me, cleaned it, all the while carrying on a three part conversation. It was wonderful to see.
He also sold me a battery for a much lesser timepiece.
Very reasonable and helpful.
It really was a magical moment with a highly trained craftsman, hiding in a corner shop on Fairfax.
just right!

This is the place to go if you need watch repair...wonderful one-man operation (always good to support small family businesses, right?). Friendly, fast, and inexpensive. He replaced batteries in 4 watches and replaced a cracked face of a 5th watch, all in 30 minutes. Actually located at 357 S FAIRFAX AVE, ACROSS STREET FROM CVS, not Beverly Blvd anymore.
Quick and friendly service
