Poor quality, poor attitude and lack of customer service

For a business that's titled, "Motion Pictures Forist"... You'd be hard pressed to want to use these flowers for any motion picture, or to be delivered to anyone in the motion picture business.

While my boss has had me order from here before and the flowers have turned out OK, my experience with Motion Pictures Florist today has caused me to cross them off our vendor list to never use them again.

There's three areas to examine here from today's experience: QUALITY OF FLOWERS, DELIVERY, CUSTOMER SERVICE

QUALITY OF FLOWERS

Motion Pictures Florist offers photos online of what you can order. You see the photo, print and call in with ID# (or order online if you dare) and they give you such said order. Unfortunately, the delivery of flowers came with the same colors but not the same flowers as what was displayed. The flowers came in a vase way too large and wide (let's just say it looked like the vase was swallowing the flowers whole as if it were armaggedon). Lastly, the flowers had brown/dried out tips and looked like they had about 24 hours left in them.

DELIVERY

The florist told our office the flowers would be delivered "around 2PM". At 4PM, I saw the flowers coming down the hall and my co-worker signed for them at 4:05PM. During my call to discuss and ask why different flowers were used, I also mentioned the delivery time and was told the flowers came "on time". I was then told the flowers were delivered at 3PM and she told me that's good enough when she says, "around 2PM". After telling her we noted 4:05PM in our books, she refused and, thus, became a liar.

That leads us to...

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Upon our request to return the flowers and mention of delivery time, our florist representative (who was also the woman the delivered the flowers) went into a frantic, very pushy mode with us to tell us that the birthday girl/recipient of the delivery "wasn't in the office anyway" and refused to own up to the fact that they came two hours late. They said there was nothing wrong with the delivery (although they were late and delivered the wrong flowers) so they would not refund us a $10 delivery fee.

Overall, we will not be using Motion Picture Florist again here at the Walt Disney Studios.
