An easy-access resource for books of any stripe, with impressive children's, business and bestseller sections..
In Short
Established in 1873 and still thriving, this mainstream bookseller boasts almost 600 locations and does brisk online business as well. Ubiquitous and well organized, Barnes & Noble arranges its huge book selection in 22 user-friendly categories, from Art and Architecture to Romance and Travel. Stores host seasonal book signings and family-friendly "Storytimes." Many locations also offer music, movies and cafes that serve Starbucks coffee.
less than noble. In a loitering-friendly megachain it's not rare to see the magazine section looking like a playpen, but this B&N gets the messy prize, no question. They're also lacking in fiction, natural science and biography selections. The staff are helpful, though, and this is the only large book retailer in the area.
Great place to Lounge. This is probably the best place there is out there if you want to go purchase a book or what not. If your just interested in browsing...Grab a book a, seat and plop yourself down for some reading. They dont mind. They know that if you find a book your gonna like your gonna purchase it. Unless your so frugal your willing to read a 400 page book in their rather than paying 20 dollars. They got every kind of book you can think of here varying from a wide range of topics. Anything from Religion to Sports, Architecture to Travel and everything in between. Barnes and Noble what Nobler book store than thee?
Good selection. I like this Barnes and Nobles. There is always parking, and they open pretty late. The staff is friendly, the selection is good, and you can hang out there with a good cup of coffee.
