Amazing Flax seed tea

I eat at Leonor's pretty regularly. It's good quality and healthy vegetarian food. I don't find it to be the most flavorful dishes, but they are still good, and unique. I believe they choose healthy ingredients over perhaps more flavorful ones.

If you are expecting good service from the waitress, you might be disappointed. All the times I've been here, I have to flag the waitress down if I want anything. But if that doesn't bother you like it doesn't me, then you'll enjoy yourself.

By the way, I nearly make myself sick drinking so much of their flax-seed tea, it's the best thing ever!

Beware: NOT VEGAN FRIENDLY

Despite what is being said, this place is NOT vegan friendly. The soy cheese has casein in it and most of their mock meats have eggs, whey, dairy, etc. The worst part is, if you ask them what is vegan on the menu, they cannot even give you a straight answer (believe me I have tried on more than one occasion on account of having vegetarian friends who wanted to eat there.) They don't even know the meaning of the word "vegan", and if I wanted to explain what I do and do not eat, I could go to a Denny's or something, which I don't.

• Cons: not a knowledgeble staff. They call themselves vegan friendly but it is untrue.

Best Vegetarian Joint in N. Hollywood

This place is the best. Whether you want pizza, sandwiches or great Mexican food, Leonor's has it. The food is delicious for veggies and meat eaters. Leonor's is all veggie- and is vegan friendly. My friend and I eat there several times a week. The prices are very affordable and the food is healthy. Leonor herself works there and her story (posted on the wall) is very inspirational. This is a great place to try veggie food and for vegetarians/vegan to eat.

• Pros: Great food, casual setting, low prices, friendly atmosphere
• Cons: dont eat here if you are in a rush! take out instead.
