Best Roscoes. Out of all the Roscoe's I've been too, this is the best one. I come here and it is always packed. Thank goodness I have been here often enough to know what times are the best to show up to get quick seats. The mac and cheese is amazing and so are the eggs....thats right. eggs.

The Best. I have been to all but one Roscoe's (haven't tried Pasadena) and the Long Beach is by far the best one that I have been to. The food was SO good I felt like my stomach was gonna bust from trying to stuff it with everything on my plate. They have the absolute best waffles that you will ever eat, trust. And I just liked the feel of this one better than all the others.

a must go if your in the area. We were in the LA area and we went out of our way to try it since we had heard good things about the food the only bad thing is now I am gonna crave it and I live too far away :( The food is great there was a bit of a wait there was a line of people out the door just to get a seat but it was worth the wait. The portions of food were large and the Chicken and Waffles were delicious.

Worth the drive. My kids saw a famous rapper eating at Roscoe's and begged me to take them.

We were staying in Huntington beach (we live in Las Vegas) so we went to the

nearest location which was Long Beach. The area was not too good but I felt

safe enough parking my car in their lot. They had a security guard. We went in

and my kids were excited. Everything went well. Food was good and so was

service. We tried to get a little of everything to try. The greens were even good

and the chicken breast was a very large piece. The waffles were among the

best my kids have tried. I think we ate most everything. Next time we go to California, I know this restaurant (or another location) will be on our list. Also,

go hungry. The food is filling and the orders are large.

A Must for Long Beach Residents. Don't plan on doing anything else for the rest of the day if you eat at Roscoe's...food coma will come at full effect. The food is great; I recommend getting the quarter or half-chicken, both light and dark meat, with the waffles. The only downside is the service, but you also have to understand that this place can get packed. Overall, a great place to eat.

Soul Food. I'm from the northeast, so this was new to me, but once I got started, I can't stop. Artery clogging fried goodness served in huge portions... It's all about craving. I've rarely gone without standing at the end of my meal to realize that i've eaten far too much.

I am still in a lovely food coma. If you want to take a break from your diet go here! Such great soul food. I made a Chicken and Waffle sandwich dipped in hot sauce and maple syrup, might sound nasty but it is heaven. Loud kids but it isthe kind of place to take kids.

Good Family Place to eat!. This place is pretty good. I had to try the waffles and chicken. Pretty good, I was surprised. I didn't think they would taste good together but it was yummy. Easy for sharing too! I was not to crazy for their lemonde and oj mixed together drink (I think it was a sunrise-kinda tastes like a water down tang). Service was pretty good. Gets pretty busy though and lots of back and forth, a little loud not a date spot for sure. I would surely not mind going again for the food.

Disgusting find.. First of all, I've eaten at the Roscoes on Pico many times. I used to love Roscoes until this incident. I ordered the chicken and gravy with waffles. After taking a huge bite into my chicken leg, I noticed something in the gravy. After taking it out, I was shocked at what i had found. I had found a human pubic hair. And yes, it really was a pubic hair and not just "curly black people hair". After showing the worker, she said she would talk to the manager. The manager came out to apologize and gave us a whopping15% discount! After asking her if the employee SHOWED her what kind of hair i had found, she replied with a "No". After explaining the situation, she said she wouldn't charge us for our meal and gave us a new plate. Of course, I didn't touch the plate. Although she didn't charge us and gave us a new plate, she seemed a bit too apathetic to me. Ridiculous.

Always lovin' chicken n' waffles, but not as good as the one in LA.. This place is good, but not as good as the ones in Hollywood off Sunset, or the one in South Central LA off Main. Those taste more authentic. But whenever I'm missin home, I run by here and get the 1/4 chicken n gravy wit waffles.
