My briefly wife went to this high-end furniture store 11/24. She associated with Tav Kaekul, acting as sales person for 22 Bond Street or designer/agent, Tav Designs.

She had Tav Kaekul set aside a variety of items she was mildly interested in. In the high-end retail world, setting aside products for contemplation is the universally accepted standard operating procdure. She was clear she needed my authorization and I had not seen anything. She left Tav my ccard data so she could ask my permission first, but told him not to charge anything until I authorized anything. He accepted. There was absolutely no goods taken from the store, receipts/slips/charges signed, deposits/layaway agreements made.

Later on 11/24 she called him to tell him not to charge anything and if she was going to buy anything, she would come back with her own credit card.

Monday 11/26 there was over $1900 charged to my credit card by 22 Bond Street, by Tav Kaekul; despite him telling her he would not do it. He told her later via the phone he would refund it, and she said she would possibly come back to the store a reconsider buying things.

Wednesday 11/28 I called him asking about the refund to my credit card. He absolutely acknowledged I did not sign anything. He said "My boss is waiting for your wife to come back and buy it". I told him it was her decision as she had her own job, life, money; but I didn't want it he had no authorization. I told him I was sending an email (10:30AM) again requesting it. and he said he would reply to email.

Wednesday 11/28 (1:30PM) I called again He said they were not refunding the money. I reminded him he had no authorization to use my credit card, that I never made any purchase, and he told me to file a complaint with my bank. I told him I was coming to the store in order to get a copy of any authorization they felt they had. When I got to the store (2:30PM), he locked the door.

Wells Fargo has told me they charged the card AS IF IT WAS AN INTERNET PURCHASE. This is in order to execute their no refund policy.

I don't know if the dispute will go in my favor, but the idea someone would make the charge for goods never received or requested, then still refuse to remove the charges for goods never received or requested, and never provide evidence that the goods were received or requested, while not overseas outside the reach of the law, is laughable. I do believe Tav Kaekul had personal incentive (commission) and will also pursue with claims of fraud.

Be very careful about giving any of your financial/personal data to 22 Bond St, or possibly any other retailer Tav Kaekul is repping/working for.

So happy with my purchase. 22 Bond St is a leader in their industry and the girls who run the showroom are experts in design! We got all of our bedroom furniture from them including a custom made quilted bed frame. We love sleeping in that bed! I highly recommend this family owned business for all of your sexy and stylish furniture needs.

22 Bond Experience. I stumbled upon this store when I was looking for furniture down La Brea Ave. The showroom was welcoming and immaculately put together. I decided to speak with them (and eventually hire) to fix some decorative issues that I was having with my home. Georgia, the manager was incredibly helpful and personable. I ordered a custom upholstered bed and bought a gorgeous pillow that had been a vintage Hermes scarf as a gift for my daughter's birthday. I received the bed 2 weeks later (within their promised 7 to 14 business days) and was very pleased to see them take the fabric that I had brought in (they also have their own selection of fabrics) and make this beautifully tufted bed that turned my room from a construction site to a luxurious boudoir.

Pretty on the Outside- Furniture and Service. THE ILLUSION:

I was drawn in by the initial appeal. When entering I was furthermore intrigued by the ora of the place, the staff was friendly and helpful explaining how their furniture is a cut above the rest b/c of XYZ, a bit over bearing but friendly.

FAST FORWARD TO POST-PURCHASE:

I'm advised by a designer friend of mine that they're custom upholstery is made from the laughing stock of factories downtown, Flores Design, after purchasing their "rolls royce of a sofa." Whatever, I do what I want - mistake.

On their website they claim their furniture is "geared towards commercial spaces," I'm not quite sure how this is possible as the couch is not standing the test of time (6 mos) in my low traffic home.

I then find out from my friend that the coffee table I purchased and they told me they had "hand picked" from europe, was from a line call NOIR (who all designers have access to) and I was pretty much raped in regards to what I had paid, GREAT. Still love the table, just hate being bullshitted!

After going back and forth via phone, emails and showroom drop-ins I finally came to the conclusion my upholstery issues wouldn't ever be solved. Considering what I had paid for the sofa, then finding the same one at the walk-in showroom @ Flores Design Downtown for a fraction of the cost, I'm OVER 22BONDST and their gimmicks and have found a new couch for my "home sexier home" w/o the BOND LADIES help, thanks girls!

My Best Sofa Shopping Experience. I admit, I have a tough living space.. long walls and a funky angle smack in the middle of my living room. My fire place is another story, in other words I had a tough time finding a sofa. I heard of 22 Bond St. from a friend that shopped there and was extremely satisfied. So, I gave it a chance. I must admit I got a seven star service from the get go, the Bond St. girls not only gave me great options and walked me through the entire process, they were efficient, honest and fun to work with. I dread ordering furniture and they made it EASY. I ended up ordering a 5 piece industrial fabric sectional that my dogs can not destroy! my sofa is a treat of plush materials and looks great... If you are in a search for a great sofa, wide selection, direct price deals and seven stars service, 22 Bond St. is the place for you.

Hooray for 22 Bond St.. They really helped me while I was in a bind! I was staging my home to sell and needed amazing, quality furniture for a DEAL and right away. I got exactly that and I want to thank Dana and Sherry for delivering what my designer friends had raved about. I can sell their pieces with my house or I might just keep them myself! Thank you very much!

Great Merchandise. Very happy with the customer service at this store. We had small issue with an item that was shipped and they were on top of it with a fix and really took care of us until we were happy. I could not be happier with the end result!!! Thank you!!!

Always been consistent and have helped us out BIG!. They're known for excellent service! We do a ton of projects even overseas in Europe with them and whether in person, phone, email, fax or via their website, they've always been consistent and have always helped us out tremendously, even in the most stressful situations with the craziest deadlines!

We LOVE their work, their personalities, professionalism and fastest turnaround for real quality! Unlike reg retail, they give best pricing based on their inventory count. If you get lucky enough to get their double discounts, you'd be a fool to pass it up.

22 Bond St. was really wonderful: quality, service, prices!. 22 Bond St. was very helpful in getting both my loft and the house I am selling fully outfitted very quickly and with great service. Thank you! I'm happy to spread the word to my family, friends and anyone that wants incredible furniture quickly, with personalized service for so much less in price. At least check them out for yourself!
