Fish Bowl Margs!. This is a great spot, with tasty, potent margaritas, and good food. It's very affordable too, with a friendly staff, comfortable booth seating, and the perfect gaudiness to make it just right. I've seen some low marks on the food, but I have to say that it's much better than many "critics" say. For a low profile, comfortable spot, and killer margs the size of your head, Villa Sombrero is the place to be!

Yummy Margarita. I consider myself a bit of a margarita connoisseur and love the cadillac margarita at Villa Sombrero. We ate there about 5 years ago and the margaritas were awful, the food was not any better and the service was the worst. I tried it again about a year ago and all those things were no longer true. Good food, good value, yummy margaritas and friendly service, in a nice neighborhood establishment. We eat there at least twice a month now.

Terrible. I've lived in Highland Park for 40 years, and every 2-3 years I'll give this place another shot. I have always been disappointed in the food, and the margaritas. It's a shame, cause they have a great location, and nice interior. However terrible food, and worse drinks make this a must miss! Go to El Arco Iris, just down York Blvd., or try La Fuente On Monte Vista for good mexican food and drink
