Cheap and tasty, Fatburger might just be the superhero of fast food.. In Short
Founded in 1952 by Lovie Yancy, this is a fast-food joint all the way: Order at the counter and employees bark your request to the fry cooks. Besides a grilled chicken sandwich and a chili dog, it's all burgers. Wrapped in paper, served on plastic trays and dripping with toppings--mustard, mayo, relish, tomatoes, lettuce and onion--these burgers are definitely fat. Add cheese, bacon and fried egg and you have a hefty, cholesterol-laden meal.

not worth it. i had heard the buzz about fatburger- it's definitely not worth it. although the beef is of higher quality than other fast food places, i'm just too impatient to wait- and it's usually always crowded. the burgers are not really big- the kingburger is too big- there's just no real balance- the hot dog i had there once was the worst and most overpriced hotdog i've ever had. the chili was cold and so was the dog! find a better fatburger to go to, if you go at all
