THE OWNER WAS DRUNK AND CURSED "F#@K YOU!" TO THE CUSTOMERS
by WEILANDSUCKS at Citysearch
It is really really bad that the OWNER of this restaurant (little Tokyo) has a drinking and temper problems...and he is in the service business? The owner was really upset about the messiness at the men's restroom as my friend stepped in so he started shouting at him because he thought he could. A few minutes later i saw the owner came to our table DRUNK with 3 security guys to kick my friend out with "F#@K YOU!" out loud from his mouth...DON'T EVER GO TO WEILAND if you are thinking to make visit there!
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: THIS IS A LOW-END JOINT THAT CHARGES HIGH-END

happy hour was good!! i had some friends who suggested weilands in little toyko. so we went after work. like a pre- bacholorette party with friends/co-workers from work. i never been so i am up for anything that is delicious and cheap. i was kinda turned off by paying for parking $6 but i guess they gotta get you somehow. heh. anyway we got seated right away but i hear it can get pretty busy. our waitress was extremely nice but service was slow which she came back to apologize for. myself i had a keylime martini and some tropical drink. the tropical drink was way better than the keylime martini. we ordered some garlic fries which were delicious sooo good that we had 3 orders heeh, and some calarmi, which were ok. well my 2 friends drank at least 7 drinks and then took it to the karoake bar across the street and then drank somemore at the end of the nite one of my friend's regurgetated the garlic fries ALL up on the side of her car but then FUN TIMES HAD BY ALL HEHE
- Pros: the drinks and food
- Cons: paying for parking/slow service/ small portions
Crowded Happy Hours, Good Beer, Good Prices
by wandernn1 at Citysearch
Went to this place on a Friday around 5:30pm to check out their happy hour. Nice! It was crowded and we got the 2nd to last table in the restaurant area because the bar area was packed. The crowd was court/city/county employee-like, so a semi professional mostly younger crowd. House beer is the only thing discounted, no happy hour prices on anything else, but they have 4 different house beers for $2.50 a pop which wasn't too bad. Appetizers, garlic fries and onion rings were not overly impressive but were not too expensive and the burger my friend ordered was alright. Didn't really check out any other food, but the menu prices weren't bad, topping out at like 15 to 18 bucks for a steak. Lots of people watching to do and the crowd seemed ready to mingle. Definitely recommend this for an early happy hour. It's actually good to see people out boozing it up early!
- Pros: Good crowd. Cheap Beer. Full Bar. Inexpensive Food. Nice Happy Hour.
- Cons: If you can't find free parking, you're impatient or unlucky, or both.
