The best pizza in the World!!!. I have been traveling italy for the past three months. To my misfortune I've yet to find pizza as good as Filippo's Pizza. I started my trek in Milano (northern Italy) and made my way down to Palermo (south western Italy [Sicily]). I was expecting to have the best pizza in the world. Instead, I have an empty stomach and an empty wallet. None the less, I gave up on pizza and turned to seafood. This is what I'll be enjoying for the rest of my trip. All I've been able to think about is Filippo's Pizza. I cant wait to be back in San Pedro....

BEST PIZZA ON THE WEST COAST!!. I never use to be a big pizza lover until I was referred to Filippo's. Their pizza is AMAZING!! You can tell that lots of effort was put into their sauce and dough, because it tastes so authentic, that it's as though you got it straight from Italy! Trust me I've been there! They pile plump, fresh ingredients on top of their pizzas to create one of a kind creations. I have friends that visit once a year that now INSIST that we eat there when they are in town. I have been ordering from them now for three years and I have not one complaint yet! So If you are craving authentic, Italian food and you are anywhere near San Pedro, you should make the stop here, and guaranteed in one bite...you'll be hooked!

Best Pizza in San Pedro. When my family went to Grand Canyon, we stayed in Williams AZ. We ordered pizza for dinner from a place called "Pizza Factory". It was the best pizza we ever had. We stayed in Williams another day so that we can eat the pizza from Pizza Factory again. Now back home, I ordered the pizza from Fillipos because of discount coupon. And the pizza tasted like super pizza from Grand canyon trip. They use frash made dough, made from scrach sauce, and good quality cheese that you can taste. I ordered 2 extra large pizzas and I ate for lunch, dinner, and breakfast next day. I will not be ordering pizza from Dominos, Pizza Hut or Papa Johns again.

Danger!!! We got sick!!! Stay away!!! Good pizza going down, not so good coming up!!!. My wife and I carried out a pizza on the recommendation of a friend. I have to admit the pizza tasted very good. But about 4 hours later we both became violently ill. I have no doubt it was the pizza. We hadn't eaten anything since an early brunch 9 or 10 hours earlier, too long to be the cause. If you've ever been that sick and know how awful it is, you won't go anywhere near this place! The biggest joke of all: they proudly display their "A" rating from the county. Apparently the county does not monitor how long they have ingredients sitting around growing bacteria. Spread the word, this place is dangerous!

Terrific. This pizza is delicious, and they have several out of the ordinary choices and specialty pizzas. My family is always happy with the food, but the guys offer friendly service and smiles, as well. Be sure to plan on a tiny dining space - you will need to order take out or delivery to accomodate a crowd. They have a super jumbo size pizza - biggest I have seen anywhere. Recommended for fresh, excellent pizza.
