Customer service inappropriate!

I was having a hectic day at work so I called in an order to go. Once outside, I realized what a lovely day it was; the sun was shining and it was warm. On the drive to pick up my food I decided to eat there on the outside patio and enjoy some fresh air before going back to the office. When I arrived I told the waitress that I was going to eat there, 'It's such a lovely day, I've decided to eat my food here on the patio and enjoy the sun.' She looked at me as if I had just committed a crime and told me that since I ordered to go that I had to take it to go. She went on to say, "...if you order to go, you take it with you and once you order you can't change your mind". I pushed the issue and she said, "Since you are good customer I let you do it this time." LET ME DO IT? Oh, please. If I had not been so hungry I would've walked off and left the food there. I did not take her up on her offer to "let me do it this time". Instead, I took my food and ate outside in the comfort of my own lovely backyard.
If a customer changes their mind about eat-in vs. take-out that should not be a problem! If the restaurant does not want the customers to eat with take-out boxes on their sidewalk patio, then put the customers food on a plate AND LET THEM ENJOY THEIR MEAL without any drama. I don't spend a lot of money there, but they probably get $500-$600 from me a year for the past 3 years. Well, that's money they won't be seeing from me again! How are you going to tell me I CAN"T change my mind? I hope that policy is worth the loss of a good customer and a poor review.
The food is simply okay and couple that with poor customer service and if I could put zero stars I would have!
There is a sushi place on the other end of the block and sushi places up and down 6th street.
- Pros: Convenient
- Cons: If you order TO GO and then change your mind they won't let you eat your order there
Surprisingly Good, So Friendly!

I'm a sushi snob, I admit it. I've gone everywhere including Katana, Boss, Hamasaku, Blowfish, and Koi. I love sushi and eat it frequently as it's delicious and healthy. I live near Larchmont and decided to give this place a shot because it's the only sushi restuarant on the street. We were both really surprised. The menu is extensive, the food is delicious (I recommend the yellowtail sashimi appetizer in ponzu with jalapeno) and the staff was so friendly. They rushed the order because they knew we were hungry and they sat us right under a heater to make sure we were comfortable. It's a great neighborhood establishment. We're going back tonight!
Great Sushi on Larchmont
by jin20 at Citysearch
I tried this sushi restaurant on Larchmont last week and was really pleasantly surprised. They have really good sushi rolls and a huge menu. You absolutely need to try the spicy tuna on crispy rice. Don't pay double or triple the price at a different sushi restaurant...it won't taste as good!
- Pros: Sushi, friendly staff
- Cons: No sushi bar
DYNOMITE!!
by vrienden at Citysearch
Went there for my grandson's 2nd Birthday. He loves the udon noddles and the tofu. My daughters and I had the tuna tataki salad, dynomite, spicy tuna and some tempura. Everything was really delicious, not just good. The people that work there are friendly and helpful and child friendly; he has been going there since he was 8 months old. Can't wait to go back and the mochi strawberry icecream was light, refreshing and perfect. All in all, yum!!
