Having been to the Tujunga location before, I had the same expectations going into this one. Our fam held my daughter's baptism celebration here and I was quite impressed with the friendliness and overall quality of service. I'd say it's a tad bit better than the Tujunga location. Of course, the food was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend the enchiladas...there's something about the sauce. As previously mentioned by others, the salsa is also good - it's not overpowering.

Parking is a challenge here, especially when an event is held. You have to go to the public lot behind the restaurant and the rear entrance is not easily seen (there's a tiny Joselito's sign by the door). Take note of the nearby businesses and you'll find your way in.

An All-Around Favorite!!. I have eaten at all the different "big' name Mexican restaurants and that's all they have going for them is their name...and maybe their "big" prices. Joselito's, by far, is the absolute best!! Every meal is fresh to order and always served by warm, friendly servers. All meals are reasonably priced. It's great for a party of one or for a party of 40. Joselito's may be family owned business but every customer is treated like family.

Great Taste. Besides being a tad pricey for mexican food ( which is the same basic 5 ingredients) I love this place. Great taste with a nice and comfortable atmosphere.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Town!. I had the best group party in a private room. My staff is still raving about the food, drinks and service.

Just great food!!!. I've tried a few different items and it's always excellent! Service is always good and atmosphere is very lovely too.

Don't be fooled by the locals!. Don't be fooled by all of the locals padding the reviews for this place. This local frequents Joselito's for drinks and the decent chips & salsa. The food on the other hand is slightly better than Mexican food served in the midwest. Dare I say the nachos DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET at Steel Pit are better than this place! You can not cover up bad taste with piles of beans and rice. By all means, try it yourself. But don't go expecting a 5-star restaurant as the ratings would have you believe. Want Mexican in the area...head down to La Cabanita in Montrose.

I'll give it 1/2 star for the drinks (they make a damn fine margarita, and the other 1/2 star because they support the local community. There...I said something nice!

#1 Mexican Meal. I love this place! It is my #1local go to Mexican restaurant! I love the cozy setting and the friendly staff. Always a great bargain too!
