Who wants to spend a bunch of $$$'s on their fireplace? Well we didn't. BUT Fireplace Freddie made it almost painless. We were selling our home and had an inspection on our fireplace, and found we needed to replace our fireplace. Notoriously fireplace repairs are expensive however after all was said and done, we found the price to be reasonable. We experienced professionalism with all Fireplace Freddie employees. They were on time and were very knowledgeable about their craft. When we buy our next home, should we need any work done on a fireplace, we certainly have Fireplace Freddie do the work.

NO Call, NO Show!. I found Fireplace Freddie on the internet. I called and the gentleman I spoke with stated that could help me with refinishing my fireplace. He stated that he would send his Head Employee with pictures of other jobs that had been completed. We set up an appointment for a saturday a few weeks ago, and no one ever showed up. I waited an hour longer, in case they were running late. No one ever called. Very unprofessional. Very unreliable. Not a way to run a business. I don't even think they deserve 1 star!

Extremely Pleased. We moved into the house over a year ago knowing the fireplace needed improvements before we could use it. At the end of 2011, we finally decided to move foward and have the work done. From the first meeting through the completion of the job, we were impressed with how much the folks at Fireplace Freddie care about the work, and about getting it right. Issues were uncovered as the job unfolded, which required more work and additional costs, but the way FF handeled this was extremely fair. The workmanship was impeccable, and the guys we dealt with were easy to talk to and took very good care of our home. We are so happy that we went through with the job and that we chose FF to do the work.

In Time of Need. We have lived in our house in Pasadena for 12 years. We have 3 fireplaces. Recently Pasadena experienced unprecedented wind storms with many down power lines & trees. We lost a few tree & suffered some cosmetic damage. I thought we were really lucky. A few days later my neighbor brought over a chimney cap which blew off. Not a big deal, right? I called Fireplace Fredie who was referred to me by a good friend. They were out in a few days restored the cap and inspected all 3 chimneys. Alas, they found that 2 of the 3 are not up to code, need work & cautioned us not to use. Their service was great, professional, reasonable and in my case saved us from a major problem. I highly recommend Fireplace Fredie for all you fireplace needs. Call them before you start your next fire. I did & I'm happy I did.

Best Service!. We tried using our indoor fireplace for the first time after moving in, but smoke just came inside of the house. We also tried out our outdoor firepit that is adjacent to the indoor fireplace and the smoke odor jsut went into the house. We called Fireplace Freddie to have it evaluated and repaired so that we can get it to work without having all the smoke come in. John, from Fireplace Freddie came to our house and did a very thorough assessment. John is so knowledgable in every aspect of fireplace/chimney. He recommended to have a smoke guard placed, add a 2 inches of masonary to the existing (newly) placed firebox, and a new chimney cap placed. For the outdoor firepit. He suggested it needs to be swepted. We decided to have it done since he would be able to do it while he was here and stated that we can even try out the fireplace to make sure it worked. John did all necessary work and tried it out and worked! He also recommend that we close the indoor flue all the way when using the outdoor pit to reduced the smoke odor into the house. We are very happy with the overall work done.

Very satisfied. I needed work done in a hurry and they actually moved their schedule around to help! At my home the chimney sweep clearly explained the problem to me and how he was going to fix it. The price was very reasonable. I was very satisfied with the experience I had with this company.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!They will GOUGE U. Do not call this company ,if you want an honest estimate for fireplace repair.The problem is there are not that many fireplace contractors around.Here is an example.I had an honost fireplace builder come out and quote me 1200 dollars less for the exact same work but he said to me you probably do not need this much done.Example:A part that F Freddie said had to be replaced just had a dent.So, if you want to throw your money away go ahead and use them.Especially do not use them if you want an inspection report.REAL UNPROFESSIONALS

Great Customer Service, High Quality and Superior Work. Fireplace Freddie helped me in an emergency and made sure the work was done in time for close of escrow. They accommodated my every need, were professional and made everything go smoothly. The crew was friendly and kept the work space clean! Most importantly, there was always someone available to answer my questions and helped to eliminate confusion. An honest, top notch company with superior work! Well Done!. What a great group! The entire project went like clock work even with some suprises...these folk are honest, clean and real pros. I would recomend them highly.
