In Short – Forget the tour of stars' homes. One sure way to see celebs in L.A. is through Audiences Unlimited, a ticketing clearinghouse for some of TV's most popular shows. The company fills seats for tapings of sitcoms, including "Two and a Half Men" and "According to Jim," as well as special productions like the "Poker Dome Challenge."

- Save Time:
- Many shows do not admit guests under 16 (policies are set by the show producers). Be sure to check the website for age requirements and other restrictions.
- Look Good:
- Tickets are available online and by telephone, 24 hours a day, and may be ordered as much as 30 days in advance.
- Know Before You Go:
- Tapings often last longer than you might think. It can take up to six hours to shoot a half-hour episode, though it usually last two to three hours.

not recommended, we were not told all of the stipulations about attending a tv show taping until we were already at the studio and in line to go into the taping. had we known that we would have to be there for 5 hours for a 30 minute taping and would not be allowed to go to the bathroom, we definitely would not have went. these are things that should've been explained when we requested tickets.
