Good, cheap mexican food. I've been going to Wahoo's for a long time, and I love it. Its now just down the street from where I live, so its simple, fast and convenient.

I get the kids bowl, with grilled chicken and veggies, and it costs me like $5. Plenty of food!

Fish Tacos Are Much Better Than They Sound. Fish tacos might sound a little off-putting if you're not familiar with this popular Southern California chain that blends Mexican, Brazilian and Asian cuisines. However, without fail, everyone who tries Wahoo's is immediately hooked. Originated in Orange Country, this laid-back spot with a Hawaiian vibe is popular with the surf crowd looking to recharge after a day in the water. There are now Wahoo's all over California, Hawaii, and even Texas, but regardless of which location you visit, you can always expect the same quality and not much variation--consistency is always a plus. The Polynesian shrimp tacos are excellent, as are the ever-popular grilled fish tacos. The selection is pretty much the same as a typical Mexican restaurant--tacos, enchiladas, burritos and bowls with your choice of fish, chicken, carne asada or veggies. Just as good as the main event is the rice and beans that come with the meals. If you're really hungry, you can get a super-filling meal, but if you just want something small, they have a la carte items as well. The drill: walk up to the counter and order, sit anywhere and watch skaters and surfers on the TV's while you wait for your food, then eat and enjoy!

Take a refreshing break from fast food with fusion surf fare.. In Short
The nearest Wahoo's may be miles from the ocean, but this chain creates a beachy atmosphere with cabana-esque decor and a Hawaii surf-themed menu that serves a fresh, light and tasty fusion of Latino, Asian and Cajun fare. Bowls, burritos and combos come filled with your choice of meat, blackened or teriyaki style. Side dishes include Ahi rice, Cajun beans and Baja rolls--flour tortillas spread with cream cheese, leaf spinach, chopped chicken and salsa.

Great food, great value!!!!. I have been a fan of Wahoos for awhile. They have the BEST fish tacos! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND the Charbroiled Fish Tacos!!!!! Excellent! The polynesian shrimp, steak and carnitas are also great. The salsa and guacamole rocks too!

Good fish tacos. Simple, good, and pretty healthy fish tacos. They don't have the most flavor so be sure to add some salsa but these are pretty satisfying.
