Petrossian is known for its large variety of high quality caviar. The truffle mac n cheese is BEYOND phenomenal.

The Petrossian family has been making and selling caviar for more than 100 years. A boutique and a restaurant, Petrossian is the perfect place to pick up a gift or stop in for lunch or dinner. Even if you don't like caviar, the menu offers an array of dishes that anyone would like.

Everything is better with Marilyn & Caviar. Petrossian is a gentle and quiet restaurant on Robertson, just one block north of Beverly.

There you can find excellent service, good wine and high-end food without any pretension. My favorites are the foie gras salad and the caviar pizza.

Decor features black and white photos of glamorous celebrities like Marilyn Monroe.

There's also a little shop if you want to purchase anything to go.

Petrossian: All Talk, All Bit. This place lives up to the hype!

After hearing so much about this place and the chef on Twitter, I came here for DineLA a couple weeks ago.

Parking is tricky, even at dinner time. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I can only imagine what kind of natural light you get during the day!

Service was impeccable. Our server, Dan, was very courteous and very attentive. Everybody else was great as well.

Our meal was wonderful and everything so well seasoned and flavorful. My favorite was by far the truffle mac n cheese, followed by the napolean tartare. But again, everything is good!

Chef Ben Bailly was really cool. Having interacted on many occasions via Twitter, I think he wanted to meet us just as much as we wanted to meet him.

I can't wait to come back. Merci Chef!!!

A bit expensive but worth it. Had a fantastic bagel with salmon and capers here recently. It was just what I wanted with quality salmon and the bagel was expertly toasted. But $16 is a bit much, no? Screw it, it was worth it and I'd go again!

There are cheaper things on the menu, but there are also a lot more expensive items. I'd say the atsmosphere here is more business lunch than dinner. But it is nice and airy inside and they have a lot of tables outside too for primo people watching on Robertson.

Citysearch Editorial Review. With a name that's synonymous with caviar, Petrossian conjures up images of sophisticated indulgence. After all, those salty little pop-in-your-mouth fish eggs are what feed the rich and famous, dahling. But this West Hollywood incarnation of the famed brand has opted for a much more down-to-earth (yet no less special) approach to dining. After a multimillion-dollar makeover in mid-2009, the bright, immaculate space is like a breath of fresh air. The white-and-black color palette is classic, the sidewalk cafe is utterly charming and the tempting boutique gleams with display cases of caviar and chocolates. Chef Benjamin Bailly leads the kitchen, which artfully presents an array of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most salads are $12, sandwiches are around $14 and even better, dinner prices are the same as lunch. Sure, there's the Royal Caviar Trio platter (a real splurge at $390), but you can also get other affordable fancies like the frothy wild mushroom capuccino and melt-in-your-mouth Tzar-cut salmon trio.

Fine French Food - causual and comfortable setting. Nice corner cafe location just north of Beverly with pleasant patio . Bright interior with high ceilings.

This is really special occasion food you can afford more often. Nice brunch menu, and close to Robertson shopping stretch. Smoked salmon that puts delis to shame. Mushroom soup with flavor that will stay with you forever. Plenty of options both with and without the caviar.s that made Petrossian so famous.
