The worst sushi experience ever. I eat sushi twice a week. This is the worst experience ever. I go to Midori where you can find nice sushi.food came with bland taste and crispy deep fried sushi came cold. miso soup was very bland. it is so unfortunate people they go there and make line to get table some times. It is not special at all.manager came to table and had a bland face not even appologizing for bad food they served us or not even offering menu so we pick something else.

Great place for a casual dinner. If you're looking for a casual place where the food is good and they won't rush you out of there (like other smaller sushi places), check out Kabuki. I've been going for years and have never been disappointed. The Firecracker appetizer is especially yummy if you like spicy tuna and don't want even more rice.

Nice Place, Fresh Fish. This place has good sushi. Fresh fish is served and look for the specials on the menu.

If u like spicy food try their Spicy Tuna Special, Service was good and we were seated within 5 minutes.

Valet is cheap and street parking is available, if you are looking for a good sushi place I recommend this place .

Kabuki Japanese Restaurant. When I first walked in the restaurant smelled fishy. When I relayed this to someone who knew about Sushi, I was told that meant the fish wasn't fresh. Well, anyways, I asked for a seat in the back of the restaurant so I wouldn't have to smell the fish. I ordered a salad that had chicken in it. The food was mediocre. I would not run back to the restaurant. If someone really wanted to go there, I would go with them. By the way, when I walk in Musashi's in Northridge, the Sushi bar doesn't smell fishy.

Don't Go for the Sushi. My wife and I had a craving for sushi on a Sunday night when our regular place (Brother's Sushi) was closed. We went to Kabuki because it was close by, even though we hadn't been very impressed when we'd gone there a year earlier. The place always looks crowded when we drive by, so maybe we just had a bad night, right? No, the sushi was still bad. We've never tried anything else at Kabuki, but you'll have to trust me that Brothers is a hundred times better for sushi.

Editorial Review by Kim Cooper. While sushi's their specialty, nigiri-style or in hand and cut rolls, teriyaki, tempura, soups and noodle dishes are also featured.
