Good food, terrible service. Been there several times and went there a couple weeks ago and the service was terrible. We waited over 10 minutes for our waitress just to come get our drink order. I personally had to get up to tell them to come to our table. The family that got seated after us already had their drinks before our waitress came. When she did come she was in a rush and did not even get a simple drink order and charge us for the drinks that we did not recieve. i asked for a spoon and it took her over 5 minutes to get it, while she attended her our customers quickly. The positive thing is that our food got their quickly.

Gracious service and family atmosphere are the main draws at this local barbecue chain.. In Short
This isn't a typical barbecue joint, and the vibe and food are anything but rustic. Inside, families and couples at large booths and tables feast on mesquite-grilled BBQ in a modern, earth-toned setting. Slow-roasted meats, such as baby-back ribs and chicken, dominate the moderately-priced menu, but crowd-pleasers also include the 15-ounce Kansas City Strip, freshwater Idaho trout and balsamic shrimp. If that doesn't trip the trigger, Certified Angus Beef burgers and mile-high salads are other options.

Good Seating Great service and the food was kickin'.. Sept.9th,07

The food was a little pricey when we saw the menu. But when my family and I got what we ordered, the

food was great and it sure was worth it. My husband is not a fan of mac & cheese but when he started to

eat, he thought it was good. He liked it!!! The tri-tip he ordered was fantastic!! after I had tried it. He said, if meat was butter, then this is the best meat I ever had.

Excellent salmon. My friend was in from out of town and he wanted to have a nice meal before leaving for LAX. We stopped in to this place and the experience made for a memorable farewell. The food was great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was almost romantic. We both enjoyed it a lot.

good tri tip. couple years ago first time when I ordered bbq beef ribs , it was more fat than meat and souce was too sweet and I decided not to come .Few months ago I went again for take -out tri tip sandwich , it was really taste ,souce is still in the sweet side.Recently I went there two more times, ordered tri-tip meal, first one was really great , meat was prime cut, very tender, perfectly cooked, side dish vegetables were steamed but not too soft. My second visit was unfortunately not that great, broccoli came out too soft, tri-tip was almost choice cut . Meat it self was cooked ok but two side of the meat had thick chewy parts-- (it was definitally choice cut meat not a prime!)

Since it is very difficult or impossible to find prime restaurant in the valley, I still recommend this place , it is not a great restaurant but when you want to get meat and you don't want to drive it is a good place to go,very clean!, and comfy,.If you like Tony Roma's meat quality this restaurant is very similar-cheaper.

100 times better than those joint restaurants(mostly they serve choice meat anyway)

This place ROCKS!. I went with my girlfriend and we each had two margaritas. Deeeelishus! Then we share the tri tip and babby back ribs withthe mashed potatoes and beans. We were dying it was so good. We tried to share the cheesecake, but ended up taking it home after 2 bites. I am definitely going back with a bigger apetite.

Great shrimp and BBQ tri tip. My kid loved the BBQ beef ribs. I've never seen him eat so much!. I have a lot of calls I make in the area of the Northridge mall and I've always been too much in a rush to eat anywhere but fast food. Finally, my family came and met me for dinner and they wanted to go to Wood Ranch because some friends in Camarillo had told them about it. We went and got seated almost immediately even though the place was packed. I heard this place was good for barbecue -- and it was -- but it was also great on grilled shrimp marinated in balsamic sauce and fresh trout. Wow! My son, the one who wanted to go here, had the beef ribs and he devoured them. He usually doesn't eat much (he's 8) and got so full he couldn't finish his mac and cheese. My wife got the BBQ tri tip and baby back ribs combination with smashed sweet potatoes. True love! We got one dessert to share among four of us and hd trouble finishing it. They take a big ball of vanilla ice cream and cover it with Oreo cookie crumbs and put it right on top of a lake of hot fudge. Oh my goodness. We'll be back! Often!

This is GOOD BBQ. I've eaten at several BBQ restaurants around town and this is among the top. I lived in the South for a decade so I know authentic barbecue. You MUST try their MASHED SWEET POTATOS! If you are not a fan already, this dish will turn you! I've eaten at three of their locations so far and besides really good food it was nice to get a sense that the waiters were actually interested in me and my experience there. This is a great happy hour spot too.

Great Food. I really like the food and the bread they serve is great, it's garlic bread. I recomend going during the week instead of Friday, Sat. or Sunday night. It seems like there's better service and less wait during the week. I'm not sure the wait staff handles a large crowd well.
