do not eat here. If i could i would give this place 0 stars. The guy who claims he is the owners son is a weirdo, completely rude, horrible douche.. the service is HORRIBLE. the food is wayy over priced & it is the worst place to go.

Do not eat here!. On a trip out to Venice Beach, a colleague and I decided to stop here for lunch. As we were starving, the food was tasted good. I had the veggie burger with a side salad, and my colleague had a chicken quesadilla. It wasn't until around 4 pm, that my colleague and I both started feeling somewhat sick. A dull sickness stuck with him for a few more hours, whereas I developed SEVERE sickness from the food here. I was sick for almost 45 hours! I would NEVER recommend eating here, as the place was rather unclean on the inside, which really should have been my first sign!!

excellent food, worth the wait. I am walking distance from Sunny Grill, but often drive through when I crave their turkey burgers, fried zucchini, gyro, burrito, salmon sandwich....never disappointed. Drive through is awesome. To eat-in is a little less fancy so don't expect fancy silverware and candles. It's small and clean and they serve your food in small baskets (diner style!). The lot is surrounded by beautiful well-kept roses and there is outdoor seating. Friendly service. I have been going for years and just thought now to write a review.

Tasty Healthy Burgers. This place has some nice burgers (as well as other food). I tried the turkey burger and the veggie burger. They are both served on whole wheat buns, which is a nice touch, and taste clean and not greasy like you get in lots of fast food joints. There is also a nice little outside seating area which is ideal since I have a dog. Its more expensive than fast food ($12 for two burgers, drink, and fries) but I think its worth it.

Good idea - Average food - Rude Owner. if the owner doesn't appreciate my business, I will take it somewhere else. I am just slack-jawed about her lack of concern for the people that allow her company to survive.

Best chicken gyro on the planet, and the pastrami is the leanest meat ive had anywhere.. Sunny grill has really fresh and tasty food. I usually get the chicken gyro. Consistincy is what makes sunny grill a place to go to for great food. The chicken is always fresh and cooked just right. The greek salad is very fresh and worth every $. The combination of veggies is just right.

As for the service goes these other reviews that i have read boggle my mind. The people who have spewed this hatred about the owner sound like the miserable ones with emotional problems. They have no idea what Mia is about what she does in her free time or probably what it is like to deal with people such as these hateful people. More owners of buisnesses should stand up for the values which define an organization like mia does. What a great woman. Weak people react negatively to people of such greatness. All we can really do is feel sorry for people who rate so low on the immaturity scale. Grow up stop complaining and eat good food. Power to the Sunny Grill !

Good food is NOT worth emotional abuse at " The Surly Pill". The Sunny Grill may have good food, but the owner is anything but sunny. More like surly...she is often overtly hostile, and isn't friendly in the least. I always breathe a sigh of relief when I go in and she's not there, as the staff is normally helpful and congenial. When the owner is in, she's usually in a terrible mood which makes for a most unpleasant dining experience. Enter at your own risk!

Best of the best. sxl2007's comment is ridiculous as far as the costumer service goes. Of all the places I have ever been to and that still go, Sunny Grill has the best costumer service ever. I am always greeted with a smile, a welcome tone, and everything positive you may think of.

Besides, people need to realize that the owner works hard to make Sunny Grill a great place to eat and hang out and that just like every human being she too has down times in her life and sometimes people misinterprate actions and words.

Next time you go there, pay close to a flyier with faces on it that says "SOME PEOPLE BRING JOY...". I did not put the ending so you will see it yourself next time you go there. That whole Hitler thing did not need to be there. You can't compare Hitler to such a great person whom you misinterprated her actions and/or words. Besides, do you go there for the great food or to see if the workers will give you any love?

Sunny Grill has great costumer service and great food too.
