What a great place!. I was so happy coming here the quality of instruction was amazing. I took an adult class ballet and salsa class and it was so much fun! I brought my daughter in the next day and she took a hip hop class and jazz and I could not believe the talent that these teacher s had it was wonderful to find something local that had it all. The studio had a great atmosphere all the parents where great and so was the owner. We did not find anything wrong with this place I would recommended it to anyone!!

Silly Studio. Leave it to this studio to make parking difficult in Woodland Hills. Once you're in, check out the teeny-tiny studios with low ceilings. Take a class and you'll trip on the uneven flooring and ripped tape. Lay down and you'll be covered with dirt. Learn horrible technique from unquallified instructors and don't bother learning the other student's names...they probably won't be there next time. There are no drinking fountains, but bring $.75 for water and if you're lucky there'll be some in the minifridge. I'd suggest using the restroom at home, this one doesn't have soap or papertowels. When you're ready for your refund, good luck communicating with the owner, she lacks basic social skills. After you leave, come to city search, write your review, and never look back.

The Best Training!. I could not believe this past review of our dance studio. My daughter has been here since they opened and has nothing but the best training. There ballet teachers formally danced with the St. Petersburg Ballet of Russia, The San Francisco Ballet, and The Russian State Ballet. So to say they are not getting good training is just a lie! Not only that but my daughter this past summer was accepted to the Jr. Jaffrey. She has had excellent training at this dance studio. I hope that you come and try a class!

Worst Dance Studio in California!. I've been a professional dancer for years and thought it would be fun to go see my friend's daughter in her dance recital last spring. I was horrified by the technique being taught at this studio! The most advanced ballet classes were missing BASIC skills (ie. pointing toes, posture, turnout, etc). The owner herself danced in one of the numbers in the recital and I was shocked that even she (who teaches classes as well) lacked basic dance skills. From what I've heard, the studio is VERY casual, allowing teachers to eat Doritos and drink soda while they teach classes, which in my opinion sets an unprofessional environment for aspiring dancers. I feel bad for the parents who are shelling out hundreds of dollars a year for their children to be taught to dance, and even worse for the children whose potential is being crushed by inexperienced, unprofessional teachers. All in all, stay far away from this place! If you or your children want to learn how to dance, this is NOT the studio to attend... I honestly don't know how they have stayed in business.

WOW!. My daughter came to a hip hop class there with ALfie and she loved it. She had so much fun and learn a great deal in just one hour. After hip hop she took an advanced Jazz Class from Ashley she was on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE...WOW! Even i was imprested with that class. Who knew such great teacher where so close to home!

Super!. Dance In Motion is a wonderful studio. My daughter just took a ballet class with Ms. Natalya and she loved it. She came home and would not stop showing me what she learned. Everybody there was so nice. My son took a hip hop class for Alfie, I could not believe that there were so many boys in the class?he them dancing it was fantastic!

Best Ballet Class!. My Child loves this school one of the best ballet classes! Natalya and Wendy our great they both have a great approach in teaching. She has learned so much in such little time. It really is a wonderful school with great teachers it came highly recommended to or family.

Very Disappointing!!!. Having taken ballet classes for ten years, I was not at all impressed by the dance instructors at Dance in Motion. I went there looking for a beginners class for my daughter but I think I'm more qualified to teach her than the instructor she was given. Someone told me Natalya was good, but I quickly learned that she's good as in "friendly" with the kids, not good as an instructor. Her posture is awful and she goes through the simplest of moves with very little grace or poise. It was painful to watch how sloppy she went through the hour class.
