Friendly People. Friendly people who work there that take their time to show you the items you want. We got my brothers guitar out of pawn and also bought 2 laptops!

I like that they are open on Sundays too, a lot of them aren't! Very nice selection of jewelry, lots of guns, computers, all kinds of things. My favorite pawn shop yet! I recommend this place highly!

Outstanding Customer Service. Wimpeys Pawn is an outstanding shop i have never been treated so nice, it seems everywhere else that i use to go to i was looked at like a piece of trash. When i walk into Wimpeys i feel as if i was at home and see nothing but smiling faces and employees who are quick and ready to attend your services. I bring my gold in to this shop and they pay absolute top dollar for my goods where in other cases the other pawn shops i used to give my bussiness to would only pay me about a third of what my jewelery was worth. I am so happy to of found wimpeys pawn shop where they are paying over half to 3/4 of what my jewlerys is worth.. In some cases even more im not kidding ,,i know it is hard to believe but these are the most honest people in the pawn shop bussiness i have ever met. The even better part about this great shop is there loans are for 5 months and the first month is completely interest free no money back just the ammount u borrowed. wow now who offers that? Please go give this pawn shop a try if you are in need of a little extra cash and i promise you will not be dissapointed. Just a foot note for all you guys gold is the absolute best product to bring in

Great people.. The family who owns the shop and their employee's are some of the nicest most accommodating people in the business.

If I'm ever going to have a problem getting in on time or anything of that nature I call them and they work with me.

You do not get that kind of service from any other pawn shop.

It's one thing to make a profit for yourself..... I understand pawn shops assume all risks for everything they buy from everyone and they are in business to make a profit, but taking advantage and manipulating a customer is NOT the right way to go about doing that. My husband and I went into Wimpys to sell Krugerrand coins (10 oz of pure gold) that we acquired from a recent IRS auction. We don't normally deal in gold and had won them when purchasing a LOT of coins. We went to Wimpys knowing the spot (retail) value of what we had $15,860.00. We thought we could get at least $13,000.00 for them from a pawn shop. The guy that helped us went out of his way to give us the speech about how they probably wont make a profit off our gold and said he'd take all 10 oz for $7,700.00 That's $770/oz when gold was currently $1563.00/oz.. Now its not their fault I was so naive but I actually walked out of there with $10,000.00, and just about gave my gold away for $1,000/oz. I should have done more research because I ended up selling the remaining 3 oz I kept somewhere else for $1500.00/oz and this other company was grateful for me letting it go at that price. Like i said, I know businesses are in it for a profit, otherwise they wouldn't be in business, but to blatantly rip of a customer by feeding them lies and BS is not the way to go. I will never go back there and weill make sure everyone I know never does either .
