Used to be good bagels!!

If anyone doesn't know then here you go... If you wondered why 42nd st bagel has suddenly started going down hill then here is your answer. they have changed ownership. the new owner who was previously the store manager bought it from the previous owner when he went belly up and shut down all the 42nd st bagel shops.
Before the change in ownership I was a frequent visitor to the claremont and rancho cucamonga establishment and although NOTHING like a real NY bagel it was good. Since the change of ownership the quality and service has been rapidly declining. My standard order is an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. The bagels have 3/4 less "everything" on them then they use to, at least they have the last 2 times I have been there, and before they were very generous with the cream cheese, now not so much. And they are seeming smaller everytime we come in...
Coffee great as usual, but again if any employee or better yet the owner reads this please know that the regulars (the ones who will keep you in business) can taste the cut backs and they are not appreciated. Please do not make unecessary changes.. We loved our bagels the way they were. Also, get the other register fixed if you have not already... It is quite a nusence to have to wait 30 min cause there is only 1 register especially since I always call in my order to expedite things. DON'T SKIMP ITS NOT WORTH THE BUSINESS YOU WILL LOSE...

best bagels, horrific service and sense of morals

They have great bagels and sandwiches, but after hearing about the verbal attack on a woman that took place there, I will NEVER go again. I've been a customer for 10 years and I can't believe 42nd would condone verbal violence. Shame on the management/owner ; I hope everyone boycotts so that they go out of business. If you don't refuse service to a person who promotes white supremacists and treats other people so viciously, what kind of people are you?
