Very interesting.... I've been here about 3 times and every time its more and more interesting. I definitely agree with the other reviews, that if you like oldies, are over 35 (I'm 26) and dont mind the neighborhood biker sitting right next to you, then this is definitely the place for you.

One time when i went there, no one warned me that this is a biker bar, so when i walked in i was a little intimidated at first. But then the beer starts flowing, people start conversating and unexpectadly i had a very cool conversation with an old school biker dude and realized that this place isnt that bad to hang out in. Just need to give it a chance.

Side note: If you are into clubbing or going to the "trendy" bar to pick up, this place is NOT for you.

Older Persons Hook Up Spot. The bands that play here sound like they all listened to too much Santana borthers. Old people dance and make out . I felt like Jodie Foster in "The Accused." Older ladies on the prowl.

If you're Over 35..... ...Than this is the place for you. It's an old people place, I kept thinking I might see someone's mom there. I'd stay away.

Bikers yes, Starlets no. A typical biker bar, Katiejake's is not the place for you if you are looking for the cool new nightlife spot on Saturday night. If you're not afraid to kick back with some tough guys n gals this might be your new hangout. The service is good and prices are reasonable and there is live music--but you're definitley not going to run into any budding starlets here.
