AWESOME SERVICE!!!. I have been a customer of Johnny's for 14yrs. I remember they were on San Bernadino Road..... The owner Al is great, he has been the ear to all my pool problems and when he isn't around, the other employees there are quick to help me fix my problems with my pool. I highly recommend, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! not only do they have every part imaginable, but the selection of pool toys are amazing. Shop at Johnny's! :0)

Helped with my pool problem!!!. I am a new homeowner in Covina, never owned a pool. I went into Johnny's and the owner Al, helped me to get my pool water balanced and my pool went from green to crystal clear! Thank you Johnny's and your patience with a new pool owner. Al your awesome!!!!

The right place for all your pool needs.... I have been a customer of Johnny's for more than 35 years. If you want CORRECT answers, repairs and great service, go to Johnny's. As for Al he is a great person, don't take his sarcasm personally, it is all in good humor. Let him and his staff take care of your pool problems and you will ALWAYS be satisfied.

I am of the older Generation..... I am Al the owner, I am from the older generation where the customer is always right. In some circumstances people do not always get my sarcasim and take it personally. I try to be fair and help everyone who comes through my doors. We have been in business for 55 years and I have tried to train my staff to have the best customer service and communication we can. I pride in being one of the best pool stores in the San Gabriel Valley and I try to compete in pricing with the big box stores. I have older parts and equipment that others just simply do not have. So to come on here and see all these postings is a shocker!!!! I hope that you will come to my store and see what we have to offer. Thank You!!

Excellent Customer Service. I was visting a friend in Covina and we drove by Johnny's Pool. I needed some product for my pool so we went in. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. He told me what I needed to do to get my pool back into shape and spent alot of time with me so I would know what I needed to do. I have been to pool supply stores in my area and they try to sell me product that I don't need and are not very helpful. Johnny's doesn't do that. The customer service at Johnny's is great. I will drive the 20 miles and buy supplies there cause it is so worth it.

GREAT POOL SERVICE. Hi, I am new to the area and I called this company for some information. The people there were very helpful and answered all my questions. They were able to come out the next day and help me with my pump problem and to start pool service. The also have many items in the store to choose from which is different then what I had been used to. I had gone to Leslie's or Home depot for my pool products. I have read the other people's reviews and I have to say that I had a totally different experience. I like this company and the people there so I wanted to share my experience.

Cranky Owner. Although some of the younger workers are helpful and approachable. The owner, and a few other of the older staff are condescending, rude and abrupt. Giving you a "Don't you know anything?" "Why are you bothering me with your dumb questions?" type of attitude.

HORRIBLE! DON'T GO THERE!. I have lived in the area for 30 years and have always owned a pool. The service there is horrible. The man working there is very grumpy and don't even think about asking a question, because he will make you feel like sh**! It is closer to me, however, I would rather drive further and pay more than to have that type of service. I don't need it. There are other pool places in which I can do my business with.....

HORRIBLE OWNER!!! DO NOT GO HERE!. I went to this store for a simple request. The first young man was very polite and answered my question but wanted to confirm with the owner. The owner proceeded to tell me what I was doing wrong, belittled me, and then laughed at me when I was getting frustrated with his useless and condescending advise. I then wanted to purchase a flotation device and he said, "Hmm, should I sell this to you?"

Mr Johnny pool supply owner, you need to retire. You are rude and disrespectful. I do not know how you stayed in business for so long. I guess your REALLY old age has made you bitter and cranky. RETIRE ALREADY!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called to inquire about pool service and the guy that answered the phone gave me a quick "No" to my question and hung up the phone in my face. I didn't even have time to ask my other questions. Will never call again or hire these people.
