Amazing. I went to the beer tasting event. It was Amazing. i have never been to an event that paired beer and food so well. The Chef there has some serious talent.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Unless you're an El Monte local or a friend of one, chances are you'd never know about this place. And oh how sad that would be. From the outside it might not look like much--sure, it's clean and there's ample parking and the little sombrero-sporting caballero statue sets a friendly tone--but don't let that fool you. This is one of San Gabriel Valley's best-kept secrets. More than just a typical Mexican restaurant, this family-friendly spot serves south-of-the-border dishes with a strong Euro flair. The chile rellenos are a must, offered in four varieties: shredded chicken smothered in gooey cheese and a creamy pasilla sauce; plump tiger shrimp in jalapeno sauce; ground beef with thyme tomato sauce; or a vegetarian mozzarella. Unusual soups come in the form of chicken albondigas, bobbing in a minty broth with chopped carrots and celery, and pozole verde, a tasty twist on the traditional red-colored stew. There are also plenty of enchiladas, chicken and seafood entrees and pasta like the I-can’t-believe-this-isn’t-an-Italian-joint tequila chicken fettuccine. The outdoor patio, which is ideal for groups with a wall fountain, big screen TV and large tables, doubles as a party room for the weekend crowd that comes for the DJ, karaoke and dancing.
