if you want to get over charged come here. we went to celebrate a birthday party like 10 friends we bought food and had beers of course they over charged us but how can you argue with them. Never again going there. Be careful keep track of how much you spent

Simplemente Horrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!. Si te gustaria ir a un restaurant donde la comoda esta horrible,mal servida y aparte carisima,este es el lugar indicado,,,aparte si te gusta compartir tu mesa con gente que no conoces(las mesas estan separadas una de la otra 5 cms)una aglomeracion horrible,,,aqui eres bienvenido....si te gusta pagar por bebidas que no estan bien preparadas y aparte muy caras...encontraste el mejor lugar,,,,,cielito lindo,,,,que de lindo no tiene nada y si,,,es cierto los precios estan por los cielos,,,,realmente y simplemente horrible.

dont waste your money at Cielito lindo restaurant - el monte. Our family decided to spend mothers day here so we made reservations over the phone and were told that each plate would go for $25.00 for about 16 of us. So we get there and to find out that they were charging us $35.00 a plate with out warning "we got tricked". There alcoholics drinks are too expensive and watered down. Oh!! i almost forgot the waiters are nice enough to mark up their mandatory tips on the bill to RIP you off even more together with the valet. and they will push you to tip them so be careful. this place cares not about the recession.

two steak and rice plates for me and my wife ran up to $70 and another $30 for beverages and $20.00 with there tip.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!. Oh my god! My family and I had the worst experience ever at El Cielito Lindo in South El Monte. So we all meet there to celebrate my birthday a couple of weeks ago.As soon as my husband and I pulled in the premises, the valet guys immediately rushed to our vehicle and said that they would appreciate a tip from us before we left the restaurant. We thought it was very rude of them to say this to us before we even stepped out of our vehicle. Shortly after that my brother arrived and got into a little argument with one of the valet guys. To make a long story short, the valet guy became upset and keyed my brother's new car. When my brother noticed the scratches the following day he immediately called the restaurant and demanded to speak to the manager. They gave him the run around and til this day they have not agreed to pay for the damages done to his car. I urge people to be careful and not piss off the valet parking guys because THEY WILL VANDALIZE YOUR CAR. We went in there that night and spend $500.00 on food and my brother even gave the valet guy a $25.00 tip. I defenitely feel that they need to be more professional when dealing with their customers. In conclusion, the food there was very expensive and I do not think it is worth the price. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO El CIELITO LINDO AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

el peor lugar pa celebrar. el mariachi esta supuesto a ser bueno pero de mariachi no tiene nada fui a cenar con mi esposa por aniversario i de berdad q desepsion los tragos que sirven paresen tragos vijens caros sin decorasion los manteles no los canbian los meseros no sonrien definitibamente prferiria aber idoa mcdonalds ibiera regresado mas contento

Complete Ripoff! I agree!. I ordered a plate that was 25 usd and a coke and i ended up paying like 50 usd. i thought did taxes go up?...whats so good about this place that i just paid 50 usd.I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

The places is a ripoff!. How in the *&^% does a meal costing $32.00 come out to $51.00 before sales tax and after 15% gratuity $65.15... Can someone please example because if any thing food was for peasants!

Everything was dipped in LARD! All unhealthy, and if you wanted to go healthy, the salad alone was $16.95 plus sales tax and an additional 15% gratuity.

Where are the good ol'days when my family paid for their meals, (+sales tax) and the mariachi's were a given; all day and all night!

A great time. Wow, I loved this place before but now after the remodel it is extremly nice. The staff is wonderful and the Mariachi sing with such soul they take your breath away! The food is always excellent. If you have never been I suggest you go.

Great Mariachi Music and meals. We recommend this restaurant to any and all who appreciate authentic Mexican food, and great Mariachi music for a reasonable price. Celito Lindo is excellent for any special celebration. Our family and friends have enjoyed eating at Celito Lindo for the past few years and have never been disappointed. We particularly enjoy the Sunday brunch.
