Good Food from Good People

This non-profit food bank relies on food & sundries donated by Albertsons, Trader Joes and others. A typical box distributed will contain over 100 pounds of food: enough dry goods, cheese, meat & bakery items to feed a family of 4 for 1 week but the items will vary depending on what may have been donated that week. The membership fee for one year is $10.00 and the cost for each box is $20.00. The people running this food bank really care about the poeple they serve and are very serious about this ministry. You will not be preached at- just helped.

- Pros: You can choose what kind of meat you receive & buy extra eggs & meat quite inexpensively.
- Cons: Boxes are prepacked so you cannot choose everything in the box you receive
