Editorial Review for The Stone – by Roger Park
In Short
This former gay bar in the heart of Thai Town is just as diverse as the surrounding neighborhood, with various theme nights including DJ dance music, live rock bands, karaoke and college parties. High ceilings, low lighting and a fireplace create a cozy environment in this split-level space, where patrons come to escape the trendy Hollywood bar scene.

Insider Tips
The ExtrasOrder from nearby Kruang Tedd Thai restaurant via the bar staff and eat at your table. There's a $15 minimum order.
ParkingTry one of the side streets if Hollywood Boulevard is too crowded or pay $4 for valet on Friday and Saturday nights. Mind the signs on Hollywood--some areas are restricted.
The ExtrasA multitude of stools encircle the centrally located bar, but if the music gets too loud near the front of the stage, chill by the Zen bamboo water fountain under the stairs or lounge on one of the many couches on the upper level.

This place used to be a full gay bar. They were changed, and having a gay night only once a week. It's a good choice to choose this bar, chat with friends upstair in a very private seat. cheap drink and free snacks! The bad thing about this bar, it's very slow in the normal days, plus they never change music, it's too annoy listening the same cd round and round. They always play dance music, neither one dance, what's a confuse!?
