In Short – With a decor of dark wood, leather upholstery and soft lighting, this clubby steakhouse has a warm, upscale feel. The menu's focus is prime beef (aged up to four weeks), from bone-in rib eye and filet mignon to New York strip drizzled with bearnaise sauce. Classic seafood offerings include lobster tails, steamed crab legs and wild Alaskan salmon; sides, served a la carte, include baked potato and chipotle mac and cheese.

Terrible Valentines Day Destination

by starlette at Citysearch

This was our first experience with Flemings and will not go back. We arrived and were seated at our reserved time, at a table for two mid floor of a very noisy crowded room. Fifteen minutes later we were offered water, twenty minutes later the server introduced himself, meantime the clearer had dropped an entire tray next to my seat and left food remains on the floor. The water server bumped my chair everytime he walked past. It was very obvious the restaurant had over booked and used every single available floor space in the main room.

We ordered the special Valentines Dinner for two, extremely overpriced for the one lobster tail and two small lamb shanks, four small potatoes and mixed vegetables and a dinner plate of salad at $89 this did not include desert, or wine. We waited another 15 minutes after finishing our salads to get our main course. My wine glass was empty for at least 20 minutes and in two hours I had two glasses of wine.

Eventually the restaurant cleared out and we were finally recognized as still being there after two hours and suddenly we were comp'd our small insignificant desert and given a $25 dollar gift card if we wanted to return...which would not even purchase a bar snack for two!

Shame on you Flemings I expected more from a Prime Steak House.

Great Steakhouse

by migandali at Citysearch

My husband and I went on a recommendation from my aunt who loved it (July 08)-I've read where there was mandatory valet parking at most of them-go to the one in Rancho Cucamonga. It's centrally located in the Victoria Gardens outdoor mall-you can not only get in some shopping (right next to Macy's!) the parking is in front of the restaraunt and it's free! All you LA County ppl need to come this way and realize you don't have to always pay to park. Our waitress was excellent (left her a $20 tip),and there was always someone in arm's reach ready to help. I do agree it was a bit noisy, but for a casual business attire place the food was excellent. We went on a celebration of the "end of the work week" and it was just as special...my husband had the lamb chops, I believe, and I had the porterhouse...both were cooked perfectly and the sides were just as good. They ask you if it's a special occasion when making your reservations, mine was not, but I'm wondering now had I said something would we have gotten a free dessert?! I know my uncle got a leather coaster set on Father's Day...so you do get SOMETHING for your expense. Our bill was $150 with tip...but again...it is a great steakhouse and I've recommended it since....enjoy!

  • Pros: front door free parking, ambience, great service
  • Cons: the t.v. from the bar should've had a partition of some sort-it took away from the ambience of the restaraunt
