great food, terrific service, great steak, pricey place, best steakhouse, love wine, very nice server
Great place for a good steak! Also the brie cheese appetizer is to die for!
Its was ok. Ok....so I went here for my bday on 2/27 and suprisingly, I WAS NOT IMPRESSED!! My Filet was almost burnt, it was dry and it had no seasoning. Not to mention they have the nerve to be a expensive..now i dont mind paying for a great filet but when its dry, I couldve just went to sizzler!!!
Terrible Valentines Day Destination.
This was our first experience with Flemings and will not go back. We arrived and were seated at our reserved time, at a table for two mid floor of a very noisy crowded room. Fifteen minutes later we were offered water, twenty minutes later the server introduced himself, meantime the clearer had dropped an entire tray next to my seat and left food remains on the floor. The water server bumped my chair everytime he walked past. It was very obvious the restaurant had over booked and used every single available floor space in the main room.
We ordered the special Valentines Dinner for two, extremely overpriced for the one lobster tail and two small lamb shanks, four small potatoes and mixed vegetables and a dinner plate of salad at $89 this did not include desert, or wine. We waited another 15 minutes after finishing our salads to get our main course. My wine glass was empty for at least 20 minutes and in two hours I had two glasses of wine.
Eventually the restaurant cleared out and we were finally recognized as still being there after two hours and suddenly we were comp'd our small insignificant desert and given a $25 dollar gift card if we wanted to return...which would not even purchase a bar snack for two!
Shame on you Flemings I expected more from a Prime Steak House.
Prime beef, a comfortable atmosphere and an extensive, user-friendly wine list are the signatures of this upscale steakhouse..
With a decor of dark wood, leather upholstery and soft lighting, this clubby steakhouse has a warm, upscale feel. The menu's focus is prime beef (aged up to four weeks), from bone-in rib eye and filet mignon to New York strip drizzled with bearnaise sauce. Classic seafood offerings include lobster tails, steamed crab legs and wild Alaskan salmon; sides, served a la carte, include baked potato and chipotle mac and cheese.
Great Steakhouse. My husband and I went on a recommendation from my aunt who loved it (July 08)-I've read where there was mandatory valet parking at most of them-go to the one in Rancho Cucamonga. It's centrally located in the Victoria Gardens outdoor mall-you can not only get in some shopping (right next to Macy's!) the parking is in front of the restaraunt and it's free! All you LA County ppl need to come this way and realize you don't have to always pay to park. Our waitress was excellent (left her a $20 tip),and there was always someone in arm's reach ready to help. I do agree it was a bit noisy, but for a casual business attire place the food was excellent. We went on a celebration of the "end of the work week" and it was just as special...my husband had the lamb chops, I believe, and I had the porterhouse...both were cooked perfectly and the sides were just as good. They ask you if it's a special occasion when making your reservations, mine was not, but I'm wondering now had I said something would we have gotten a free dessert?! I know my uncle got a leather coaster set on Father's Day...so you do get SOMETHING for your expense. Our bill was $150 with tip...but again...it is a great steakhouse and I've recommended it since....enjoy!
overpriced. this food is extremely overpriced. you will pay morton's prices for applebees quality. tuna steak is not good, and i can make a better fillet myself
Everything was Delicious. From the appetizers, to side dishes, to entrees, and desserts everything was terrific. The smoked salmon bruschetta was very tasty. The side dishes are expensive around $9 each as are the desserts. Three of us, no drinks was $170. It was odd that one of the filet mignon was ordered medium and it came to the table very rare. The waitress noticed it and had it recooked to stll pretty rare. You would think they would know how long to cook it, but it was pretty thick. Still was excellent.
Great Steak and Ambience. My old frat brothers and I are on a search for the best steakhouse in LA and Flemings is up there with the best. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the server was very attentive. Wine list was good. Pricey but worth it. I was surprised to hear it's owned by the same company that owns Outback and some other restaurants. This place is far better than Mortons for the food although Mortons has a better wine list. The meat was tender and juicy and seasoned to perfection. In comparison to Mortons, it's night and day on the flavor. This place is up there with Ruth Chris in terms of food quality. Highly Recommended.
Great Dining Experience. Fleming's is a fantastic restaurant. It scores a 10 in my book on all levels. Service was impeccable, rich steakhouse ambiance, and great food. My filet mignon was so tasty, it melted in my mouth. I also have to say the creamed spinach and the mushrooms were mouth watering sides. The wine list is impressive - don't be afraid to ask questions either - the service is very friendly and attentive. It is pricey, though, so save it for special occasions!
Great steak and wines. A friend had recommended Fleming's to us because she knows how much I love wine and I was not disappointed. They have an extensive wine list...both by the bottle or by the glass and the food was delicious. They serve their steaks a la carte and you can order sides that are served family style. The side of mushrooms were great! Definitely worth checking out.
