Editorial Review for Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
This isn't a typical barbecue joint, and the vibe and food are anything but rustic. Inside, families and couples at large booths and tables feast on mesquite-grilled BBQ in a modern, earth-toned setting. Slow-roasted meats, such as baby-back ribs and chicken, dominate the moderately-priced menu, but crowd-pleasers also include the 15-ounce Kansas City Strip, freshwater Idaho trout and balsamic shrimp. If that doesn't trip the trigger, Certified Angus Beef burgers and mile-high salads are other options.

From a friendly warm welcome from Francesca and the other ladies to the excellent service from Jessie and the over all courtesy from the other servers with even just a hello made the dining experience memorable. Why can't other restaurants inthis stressful time we are living in do the same? Thank you Wood Ranch BBQ sunshine1000

This place is hitt or miss. Recently I had was craving a good steak, and I came to Wood Ranch and ordered the rib eye; it was extremely delicious, tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. I also highly recommend their scrumptious fresh-baked rolls, are covered in a thin film of olive oil and garlic. I've had other meals from their lunch menu that did not impress me as much; once I got the tri-tip and it was cold in the middle. Perhaps the issue is that their "cheap" lunch menu isn't as good as their full-price dinner menu? Also, they don't validate parking which stinks considering that they are located in the Grove.
Pros: Ribeye steak, garlicky fresh-baked rolls
Cons: they don't validate parking, lunch menu is so-so
