The Scene
Girlish glee wells up from within while perusing the fabulous frocks packing the racks in this casual boutique. Designer Veronica Monroy, whose venture in retail began as a co-owner of La Brea's sassy Scala, opened this shop in mid-2000 to give her designs a well-deserved showcase. En vogue 20-something industry gals pour through dresses and jewelry with ease in the fresh, youthful ambience this store radiates.
The Goods
Comfortable fabrics, flattering cuts and flirty flourishes like ruffles and lacy hemlines are trademarks of the Veronica M line. Blouses, camisoles, wrap dresses and girlish skirts highlight hard-earned figures, while classic items like A-line skirts make the most of those who eschew the gym. Among the trendsetters who regularly wear the label are starlets-in-waiting Melissa Joan Hart and Mena Suvari.

I adore this shop--it has a wonderful selection of summer dresses and skirts and an extensive collection of accessories, including scarves, shawls, hats, bags and jewelry. My only complaint is that they rarely have pants or jeans and the shoe selection is lacking. Excellent budget shopping!

Don't waste your time. You are better off ventruing downtown where you will see the same merchandise that is at veronica m stores but for 1/2 the price. Her purses are on every street corner in Los Angeles for $15

It is difficult for me to find clothes because I am a smaller size. The clothes here are cute and affordable and I can always find the item I like that will fit. They always have a sale rack where you can find very good deals and the sales people are always nice and helpful. The lot in the back is tandem parking and can be difficult - I park on the street and walk a few blocks.
