Perhaps the best place in LA to look for bridal lingerie. The look is very romantic and stepping into the store is like being transported into a romance novel.

A Bridal MUST!!. Beyond all of my expectations! I went to their Trunk Show in January and found my Dream Dress!!! ( and My mom still cant stop talking about what a wonderful time we had there!)

First lets start with how pretty the salon is! Very sort-of Country-French Pretty! Flowers everywhere, exactly what I thought a Bridal Salon should look like.( oh...and not to be mean but to the other reviewer...it DOES NOT SMELL of mothballs!) it smells like flowers and wedding cake!!

Yes we did the "Bridal Tour".. and went to other salons, but how we were treated at Claire Pettibone Salon does not even compare! Cynthia the manager was super friendly and nice! Not stuffy with the dark suits like other places! She even helped us a lot with our parking situation by letting us park in her space. ( i do suggest when you go..to go a bit early to find a parking space its mostly metered parking..we didnt!)

They created a lasting memory for us! They had all sorts of goodies for us..they had a makeup artist for the brides, THATS ME!.. So I had my Make-up ..AND MY HAIR done, I felt so pampered and truly felt beautiful trying on the dresses!! They really set the bar high as far as hospitality is concerned.

I can't imagine the negative comments from other reviewers!!

The really set the mood for us, They served us cake, and the most amazing Flowers! ( Peony and Plum ).

The Manager, Cynthia was great! She new I was nervous and all, so she just kept putting me at ease! And it gets better!.... Claire Pettibone HERSELF was there!! Wowza! I got to work with her...its like she knew exactly what I have always dream t up for my wedding! The gowns are soft and dreamy, exactly what i imagined since i was a little girl!

She suggested I try on Chantilly...and thats all it took!

And if your wondering if you "cry" when you find the right gown....YES YOU DO, I DID!

I felt sooo beautiful, and Claire was so amazing, "Thank you Claire for all your Beauty and Romantic Inspiration!"

To all Brides, Claire Pettibone is an absolute must!!!!

If I could, I would wear all her gowns to my wedding!!! But Im beyond happy with my Chantilly!

Make sure you call and ask for Cynthia she is great and very insightful!!!

Beautiful, Unique Dresses, Great Boutique!. I recently got married and have been meaning to post a review of this store and their beautiful dresses for some time. I wanted a unique flowy dress for my Mexican Wedding, and actually ended up with a gorgeous fitted glamorous dress with enough 20's glamour/ Mexican flair to make it perfect (I bought the Madeline). I would have never even looked at this dress had it not been for my friend or Cynthia (the attentive sales girl) who told me to just try it on. It's not a myth, when you know you're in the right dress, you really know.

I loved Claire's dresses from the beginning, and really wish I had more occasions to wear such beautiful pieces. The lingerie is gorgeous too, just not necessarily my style. I had an amazing experience here, and would recommend this store to anyone. They have a beautiful selection, and if you are looking for a non cookie cutter dress that is unique, this is the place. And relatively speaking the prices are comparable to Monique and Vera, but I think the styles are much much better. The materials and cuts are exquisite and you do feel like you are purchasing a work of art! However, it is true that Cynthia can be a bit abrasive at first, but you would be too if you had to deal with brides all day. She was extremely honest, helpful, and funny with us, but I can see how at first she may come off a bit rigid. People are people, if you know how to deal with people in a normal way you should be fine....Personally, I love her and all of her help and ideas!

The only draback, and it is very minor, is that you might have to leave a few messages before you get an appt. Cynthia does more than just run the store, so if she is with a client the store is usually closed to the public, or if she is downtown at the showroom, or something. Be patient, trust me it is worth it! My dress came in on time and was worth the wait!

Great Experience. I had a great experience at this boutique. All the dresses were gorgeous, and very unique. They seemed to be cut for a real woman's figure and not for just runway models. I came in alone, and Cynthia was so nice and helpful, it felt like going shopping with a friend. I wanted to write a review when I saw the one that's so negative. I would hate for someone to miss out on their perfect gown because they read a bad review.

Over Rated, Rude and Not Helpful. I have been shopping for a wedding dress for over a month and as many brides know, it can be stressful especially when sales people are not helpful. I called Claire Pettibone 3 times to make an appointment, left messages and got no return call. I sent an email inquiry asking if I needed an appointment and got no response. My sister came into town for 1 day especially to go shopping with me and when we went to Claire Pettibone the sales woman stopped me immediately to tell me that I could not see the bridal collection without an appointment, she would not even let me look at the dresses. After that I had no interest in seeing them and spent my money elseware, I suggest you do the same.

Feminine, lacy clothing and made-to-order bridal dresses are served up in a girly little shop.. In Short
Claire Pettibone's own ready-to-wear line is stocked with ultra-feminine dresses, embroidered tanks and delicate lingerie--all created by deft hands using her soft, trademark lace in pastel shades of lavender, sky blue, rose and cream. And if that's not enough, there's also a small offering of pieces from other designers like Rebecca Taylor and Free People. But Pettibone's famed, made-to-order bridal gowns really take center stage.
