  8. The quality of their desserts is simply unbeatable, and our cake alone (much less the fresh fruit tartlets and handmade Italian cookies) left our guests speechless.
  9. Its a huge slice (probably a 4 layer cake) with white chocolate frosting inbetween layers of vanilla cake with all types of berries and bits of white chocolate.
  10. NOt only do they ahve the msot delectable offerings, but they are open til 10pm some nights--so convenient for picking up that birthday cake AFTER dinner to take to the party later.

Used to be Good

by Cosmo23

Susina now serves breakfast. STOP! Go back to what you did well. Pastries. The female manager is one of the most sour personalities I've come across. She makes it seem as she's doing you a favor by waiting on you. No, I've gone elsewhere and it seems so have others. Too bad, it could have been so good.

Susina - Has great pastries but needs revamped staff

by TrevorWayne76

Pastries and Food are really great here, but the staffs attempts to be social and complimentary fall very flat. Jenna, the owner is great, but may need to go back to the drawing board with staff training. Can't have a GM that makes off the wall comments in an attempt to be complementary. (Staff seems too comfortable in their job) Not good....

Simply YUM.

by weho333

Want a great spot for coffee, salad and then a killer cake? This is your spot. Yummy creations of all kinds can be found here, from chocolate covered stawberries to cake to a savory lunch.

Wi Fi is free, i think, and there are always a bunch of white people here. It's just feels very yuppie-ish, in a good way, i guess?

  • Pros: Great selection of treats and eats
  • Cons: long waits when busy

Best Wedding Cake!!

by carollah

Jenna is great to work with--she's down-to-earth, really nice, polite, and courteous without any of the snobbiness that some other bakeries have. Most importantly, she seems to be passionate about baking and you can tell by trying one of her cakes! We ordered 2 Bear (chocolate) cakes and one Berry Blossom cake for our wedding. The cost of a 3-tiered cake exceeded what we budgeted for the wedding cake, but Jenna helped to accomodate our budget by making them 3 separate cakes then decorating them w/ flowers--it worked out great! The cakes are to die for--made with fresh whipped cream and berries and meringue... My mouth waters just thinking about it. The only thing we regret is not taking a big chunk of the wedding cake with us after the wedding!
