view & uploadfabulous place, good food, horrible drinks, friendly waitresses, nice cozy atmosphere, best comedy union, best shows
hollywood comedians with a small town vibe.
I've been going to The Comedy Union 3 years. Every other comedy club pales in comparison. It has managed to escape the "sceney" L.A. hot spot demeanor while actually being the hottest comedy club in L.A.
This spot is the perfect venue for an effortless date nite, ladies nite out, or just a last min. decision to lighten the stress of the week. EVERY time i've gone, i've seen big name comedians from all the Wayans, earthquake,Tony Roberts to David Arnold etc.
This is my taste of east coast in the middle of L.A. I take all my out of town guest to The Comedy Union and they are always surprised with the line up in such a quaint intimate space
Be prepared to get more than you paid for :)
Always a hilarious show!. Seriously, I've been going the the Comedy Union for each of my last 3 birthdays and my friend's birthdays and randomly here and there. The last time I went I saw Jay Phillips from the NBC show Kath & Kim. (He does this hilarious bit about kicking a dog - you have to hear it.) The waitresses are friendly . The food is good. It's a great night out for the money - about $10.
Best Comedy in Los Angeles. The Staff and the comics at The Comedy Union made me laugh and feel right at home. The show was just like watching comics on tv. The unique blend of comedy and atmosphere was a great alternative to a regular nightclub... If you haven't been go check it out!!
Hilarious!!!. The crowd is classy, and there always seems to be a diverse mix of patrons. There is a nice cozy atmosphere, and the caliber of the comics is higher. Check it out!
EXCELLENT: SHOW, DRINKS AND ATMOSPHERE.
This place is the best, we found out about it in the Hollywood Reporter, rating it 1 of 6 top clubs in the country. We were impressed....we saw Damon Wayans, Kevin Hart and Kym Whitley, all on the same night...
We also went to The Comedy Union for taping of "Who's Got Jokes" with Bill Bellamy and the Taping of "The Funny Spot" With Tony Rock.....this place is the truth
great jokes, horrible drinks. Great jokes, horrible drinks. $4.50 for a pepsi. $4.89 after tax. And the rest of the drinks are not very good.
