Editorial Review for Optical Fashion Center – by Amanda Knoles
The Scene
Located on the 6th level of the Beverly Center, this optical boutique is a favorite with celebs from the TV, movie and music industries. It's not unusual to see stars like Jason Alexander and designer Bijan stopping by for a new pair of sunglasses or trendy frames. The staff is expert at finding frames that are most flattering and best suited to each customer's lifestyle.
The Goods
This chain stays on the cutting edge of eyeglass trends, offering the latest designer frames and sunglasses. The emphasis is on filling lens prescriptions, fitting frames and repairs. There are no eye exams or contact lens services. If money is no object, you can opt for 14K gold frames or the latest styles from Cartier and Christian Dior. Other popular sellers are Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein. They also carry an appealing selection of initials, rhinestones and other decorations to personalize any pair of specs.

never ever shop at this sunglass store. i went to get my sunglasses fixed which were under warranty and it took three months for me to even get a straight answer. in the end, my sunglasses were never fixed. i asked to get the broken pair sent to me and the store manager said "we'll see if you get your sunglasses back" and hung up the phone. i have never heard of a company treating a customer like this. it was ridiculous. i have still not seen my sunglasses nor have gotten a straight answer when i visited the store. best advice ... tell everyone not to shop at this store or the one in beverly hills.
Pros: none
Cons: they rip you off

The sunglasses selection at Optical Fashion Center is great, but their return policy might discourage you from buying anything. Returns are only accepted within 14 days of purchase--and you receive store credit in the form of a flimsy receipt that's easy to misplace.
Pros: unique designer sunglasses
Cons: the return policy, usually only one employee working
