It simply shocks me to see the first review. And after reading it and talking to a friend who took EBC with me we realized it was the lady in our session. No other word can describe this woman other than ridiculous. To show up to a group effort work out where others rely on your efforts to succeed as well, it is nothing less than shameful to not give 110% at all times. Without getting into too much detail it was draining to have this woman in a session. This camp is life changing and motivating. The staff of William, Jennifer and Joe are nothing short of amazing. They can individualize each of us in a group of 20-30 and know how to push you to the next step of your comfort zone to help you tone or lose weight. It is a completely different experience than any other Boot Camp or Personalized trainer experience. Nothing shows results like this camp. In a matter of 6 weeks I lost 17 lbs, 4 1/2 inches on my waist alone, shaved my mile time by 3 1/2 minutes and still couldn't get enough and signed up again. I will continue to go and become a healthier woman not only for myself but for my children. This camp is saving my life and giving my children a mother they could have never had. I have more energy, I smile more, I am bringing in my healthy eating habits into my home, I see the change in others because of the change in myself. Although I have to put in the effort I feel I am more willing to let lose of my bad habits simply because of the gratification from seeing the faces of William, Jennifer and Joe. They see the difference in me because they take the time to know each of us as a person not as a group. Thank you EBC staff. If you have yet to try EBC you are missing out!!!! It is addicting, fun and worth every penny.

Cons: the week off in between classes.

are you ready for this???? i was expelled from extreme bootcamp in monrovia... i was accused, tried and convicted in a matter of 5 minutes from franchise owner joe stone....honestly i think it should be called XTREME MEAN bootcamp. basically, i did not fit into a core group of mean women who complained about me to joe and whined to him about how i brought the morale down by saying the class was "too easy" well maybe it was??? i have been in a total of 3 different bootcamps and for over 4 years....instead of being helpful and suggesting something different i was expelled in a way that was well....just plain mean.... i am not sure if he is just plain inexperienced or easily manipulated by his french girlfriend that is an instructor but basically he told me they claimed i stopped on a run to talk to a man that was simply asking me what bootcamp we were from?? the frenchie then claimed i called her a name?? which was completely untrue.... and i had to laugh..... the only reason i tolerated the obvious "cliqueishness" of the mean girls was because the program itself is very good...it covers the basics and does so consistently. although joe acts like a kindergarten instructor for special ed kids encouraging each participant on as if we were 5 years old ....it was extremely patronizing and not tolerant of diffences in people which to me?? makes life interesting....oh well.... life does go on....it was really fine with me.... the one amazing thing that they had going for them was an instructor named william who had a endearing way about the way he really loved his job.....i later came to know he received a medal of heroism in Iraq and somehow i was not surprised...he had a gracious heart.... so this one is not for the faint of heart.....and please joe in a few years i think you will learn that business at least in california is just not that small-minded... the name has been changed to protect the innocent..... rc
