Excellent American food

To my surprise, a Japanese restaurant is selling American food.

Nevertheless, I can't deduct any stars from this restaurant as their food is really, really good. We ordered French fries, deep fried fish, steak and chicken wings, they are all delicious. The price is even unbeatable, the lunch special is great. It includes soup, tuna salad and rice as well. What else can I ask?

Great food and tea

I too have been eating here for years with my familyand friends. There has never been a frwn and new comers who expect every Japanese restaurant to have sushi and chicken bowls are standoff-ish at first but quickly get into the groove of the menu. Their furaibo chicken salad is awesome as is their chicken wings which some parties I'm in order a few rounds. Their oolong tea is truly tasty. Everything seems to be cooked and prepared with focus. The price is right andyes things can add up quickly but that's usually because you'll go crazy ordering. Try it out!

Disappointing decline

I've eaten at Furaibo for many years and it used to be a reliable, satisfying, and reasonably priced meal with a good degree of authenticity. However over the course of the past 3 months or I have noticed a significant change in the freshness of ingredient, quality of the dishes and overall level of service. I brushed it of as a one time occurance, but unfortunately it has become a persistant issue. Not sure if is a change in management/chef issue or if they are just trying to cut corners. I will be giving this place a break for awhile and try it again sometime down the road.

Furaibo Rocks

The other reviewer is right. Hours are weird, but it's pretty common. A lot of japanese restaurants will close a few hours to prepare for their dinner guests, so be sure to check the hours. But, once you're in - it's all good. This is a good place for Izakaya style ( like tapas ) japanese fare. Perfect for those who like to sample everything ( like me ), or have something to much on with all those drinks ( like me ).

Good food weird schedule

The food is great but the schedule is weird , the place opens and closes as if they dont need customer. Call ahead to make sure it is open.
