view & uploadgreat friendly service, divine tasty sushi, delicious more food, excellent everything, good bye, terrible service, great sense
Excellent Japanese Food.
It is one of our favorite restaurants. Their food is super and their service is excellent. The only bad thing is that they do not open so many hours as other restaurants. Make sure to check before you go. Besides, don't go there at the last 15 minutes, like lunch, they close at 2pm, so better to go there before 1:45 as they may not serve you. I have different experiences with them (one time, a man said "they can't serve us as they are going to close", but the other time, the young lady still allowed us to wait).
I love their food, they are all delicious, rice is yummy, and the drink is big. Moreover, their waiters (waitresses) are efficient. Every time, we want something, just tell them, and they will get it for us quickly. My children like this restaurant a lot.
Avoid closing time.
Dined there on a Saturday night with the wife and kids. We were seated at the table and the waiter promptly took our order for drinks and food. The food and drinks arrived promptly as well. Everything we ordered was excellent. And then our waiter disappeared. Possibly finished his shift because we didn't see him at all after the food came. We tried to order some more food with one of the servers and waited approximately 15 minutes before we asked a different server where our order was. She said there was no order and that the kitchen was closed. No one came after that to offer any tea or dessert. I even had to get up and ask for the check. Finally paid the check and started to walk out when we noticed everyone at the front just having a good ole time. No thank you no good bye no nothing . Food was delicious but the service was terrible.
Should have listened to the kids and went to Benihana's where the service is much better.
Divine sushi in a City called Industry?!.
First of all, you must sit at the bar, and you must order "omakase" (a.k.a. "chef's choice"). As self-absorbed Southern Californians we, of course, think we know exactly how we want to steer our gustatory ships, and which of the cutely named fusion-rolls ("caterpillar", "dragon", "Tootsie") we want, but trust me by trusting the sushi-man and ask for "omakase".
The friendly, smiling men behind the counter know what's freshest, and if you display even the slightest enthusiasm for their works they'll respond with redoubled efforts. The sushi's more inventive than the simple (but still incredible) food at a more conservative place like Nozawa in Studio City, and the staff are much friendlier. At my favorite meal of memory at Kamon, the sushi-man pulled out the stops and started serving plates with two different pieces of sushi each, so I could have the maximized experience of his creativity without filling up on any particular cut of fish - show off. The highlight was the "honeymoon sushi", a slice of a fish liver topped with a tiny raw quail egg; it made you feel like a mini-Rocky Balboa.
The sake choices are a bit spare, but in all other respects the restaurant, recently renovated, deserves notice. Kamon, however, is both unfortunately and luckily overlooked - who'd expect to find divine sushi in some place called the City of Industry?
Yummy Sashimi. This was my first time at this place and also my first time trying sashimi, I was quite pleased. The sashimi was divine, in fact, I will be going again tonight. I've been craving this place and am looking forward to the sashimi once again. You get great friendly service here with a great sense of humor and also on your rolls you get a tasty treat on top unlike other sushi bars: caviar
Sushi in RH. There aren't too many places that are great for sushi in Rowland Heights, but luckily this is one of the better shops. Everything is pretty fresh and service is pleasant.
