In Short
Marco Morante sold "Fast Fashion" to fellow students at CalArts. The untrained designer found with jersey fabrics and a diagonal patchwork technique, he could finish a unique piece in no time. Soon Marco was in Fred Segal and making custom gowns for Paris Hilton and "American Idol." In his tiny boutique/workshop off Hollywood Boulevard, clients collaborate in crafting slinky tops, skirts and dresses, selecting fabrics, shape and patterns in a blend of natural and artificial fibers.
