We go to Salomi at least 3 times a month and love the food. The service can be great or horrible, depends on the day. Sometimes it's unbelievably slow, sometimes the food is at your table minutes after you have ordered. It's kind of a crapshoot. We tend to call for delivery a lot or even call our order in before we come sit down if we are in a hurry. But, we do LOVE the food. The chicken Korma is a great choice for people who love flavor but not spicy. The Tikka Masala is delicious and spicy. The biryani has a perfect consistency mix to it and the samosas are extremely good. So far, we haven't had a dish we didn't like. Oh, except I really hated their mango chutney, tasted like icky mango gelatin. It's a casual atmosphere, never very crowded and worth a visit if you are craving Indian while you are in NoHo!

Good food and decent prices. This is my favorite Indian Restaurant. If I am going to eat Indian food this is where I would go. It came highly recommended from a friend and I agree and recommend it also.

This was my first time eating at an Indian restaurant and it was so good! We had a sweet and sour curry over rice which was just perfect. We also tried the tandoor chicken, appetizer platter, soup and naan. I have no complaints about any of the dishes. The meat was tender and the spices were just right. I will be going back to this place a lot. Oh, and the service was top notch!
