The worst service imaginable. After spending a 1/2 hour trying to determine who would be serving us dinner - it took another 10 minutes to find a manager. The throng of baseball hat wearing, shot drinking recent college grads made it very difficult to properly lodge a complaint about the service. The food has declined in recent years - but is edible. The utter lack of service and he complete lack of care by the management (at least on a weekend night) make it a impossible place to have a decent dining experience. The bar was obviously more important to the management - the food and service played a distant second fiddle.

Horrible Customer Service. We frequent the establishment because of their great food but not because of their service. We were going to throw a 40th birthday for a co-worker who loves their food. I made a reservation for 11 for lunch time and requested we sit on the patio. The hostess said we cannot guarantee the patio. I was stunned as to why we have a large party and cannot sit where we would like. I left two messages for the manager to call me back and she never did. I find this totally unacceptable and bad managing. Needless to say we cancelled the reservation.

This is not the first time we or people we know have had problems with this restaurant the managers obviously dont care about their patrons and the wait staff was rude to them too, saying they were giving them free beverages and then charging them later.

my favorite restraurant. everthing on the menu is good and it is very different from your average restraurants. Price is high average but it is worth it. my favorite dish is the blacken halibut, mac cheese, corn, and spinich. But only problem is the waiting you must make a reservation with no reservation one will wait about a hour or more.

Best Restaurant in the South Bay!. I love Rock 'n Fish! Their food is fantastic and the service is great. It is always crowded so try to make reservations or be prepared to wait a looong time. The good thing is the hostess will call you when the table is ready, so you can leave the overcrowded bar and head next door to Shellback or the Brewery for a beer. I highly recommend the artichoke appetizer, crab cakes and tri-tip--- pretty much everything else on the menu too!

Best seafood...fresh and tasty. I've been to this restauarant at least twice. And both times the FOOD were fresh and superbly delectable. If you love seafood then this is the place for you. The calamari, clam chowder and king crab legs are especially commendable. The menu PRICE may be a bit costly, however with food as fresh and tasty as they serve I'd say its worth it. The liquor prices are standard. The AMBIANCE was agreeable, options of sitting inside, on the bar or outside patio are available. It can be a romantic venue during the evenings. The SERVICE was average, attentiveness on the servers side wouldn't be too bad. Over all I'd say I'd come back to this place and recommend it to family and friends.

Sooooo Goooood!. This is such an amazing restaurant. The artichokes are to die for. And my husband loves all the fish dishes. The navy grog is a must try. This is one of our favorite restaurants.

Great Staff, Great Food, Excellent Ambience. I love this restaurant...primarily because the staff is so warm and welcoming. David at the bar and Mike the owner make everyone feel like VIP's. Sitting at the bar for dinner is great because it is so social. I shouldn't be saying all this - because it's crowded enough already....but they deserve the kudos!

Horrible Experience. We had heard very good things about this restaurant and being MB locals decided to give it a shot. When we walked in at 7pm for our 7pm reservation the hostess informed us she did not have our reservation, I had made it through Open Table, so would not normally expect this to be a problem. She then informed me it would be at least a 20 minute wait, it was more. Meanwhile we waited in the bar area which took me back to my college days except this time the drunks bumping into everyone and throwing things were middle aged! We were shown to a table upstairs which did nothing to dull the noise from the bar. The food, which was incredibly overpriced, was horrible. To start the crab cakes were dry and tastless, my husband's halibut, mashed potatoes and spinach were drowning in salt and my Cioppino special was so spicy (and I like spicy) it almost hid the fact that all of the seafood was over cooked. The ambiance was totally lacking, the manager was fraternizing with the wasted patrons in the bar and the food was embarassing.

Best Clam Chowder Ever!. Rock N Fish is very good. The Kapalua Rib Eye is to die for! The clam chowder is also the best I've had in the South Bay. Great food, and not too expensive.

Good seafood by the beach. I ate at this restaurant on a Sunday before any dinner rush, so we had no wait. The food and drink selection were excellent. The wood grilled fish and vegetables were awesome. The crab cakes were good, but not the best I've had. Same goes for the clam chowder. The spcial appetizer of the day was a blue cheese stuffed tomato, and might be one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. Service was good. Location by the pier is cool. Parking wasn't easy. But overall, excellent dining experience.
